I just installed the white plastic version. I'm 90% sure that model can do 48 Amps as well. You're able to take out the NEMA cable and wire it directly.
Emporia does have NACS/Tesla native plug options for theirs, no adapter needed, and the NEMA 14-50 plugin versions can be modified to hard-wired also... great flexibility! Plug, wiring, AND color... More important for many homes w/ limited electrical service, say 100A or below.. they have a PowerSmart load management version for $600, which includes their Vue energy monitor and CT sensors on the main/service entrance breaker... it will automatically ramp down EV charging power if the house overall usage approaches your service limits (eg run heater, stove+range, dryer at same time etc)... this means do NOT need to upgrade your panel and/or service to add more power! (also has same NACS/J1772 and NEMA 14-50/hardwire options)_
@@Myksgarage If it doesn't have the charge level feature may it has the ability to specify an elapsed time to charge so you have some control besides letting it charge to 100% if un attended.
Great video - thanks! FYI -Emporia now has NACS (Tesla-style) connector available so no need for an adaptor.
Good to know!

👍
Does the app have the ability to set % Charge desired (say 80%) and auto stop at that point?
I'll have to check

Thanks for your help. Do you know of any charger that does have charge level like Enel Way x did for Juicebox?
