I have pair nesting on top of cellphone Tower in my front yard, and I feel blessed every day watching them take care of their chicks , they should be flying at the end of this month.great videos
Did the last Hog Island osprey chick survive? The nest is empty now - of both mother and chick, and they were there two days ago? Can't find any info. (July 31st, 2017)
Leslie Cochrane Bailey? She's safe and sound. There was a wasp attack in the nest and she jumped out of the nest to get away. The caught her and out her in a nearby nest, but that belonged to another female osprey. Rachel didn't really want to infringe on the other Ospreys territory, because unbeknownst to the humans she was nearby and actually came to the next and tried pushing Bailey off. She didn't hurt her and it was like a bossy push, not violent in anyway. I think she could tell Bailey was young and of no threat. Well humans seeing that threat and knowing parents would have a hard time feeding her they put her in another temporary nest on top of a house. It looks grossly uncomfortable as it's not a finished nest, but she's alive and both parents are visiting and bring food.
Fighting for breeding right's.These intruder's we call them, these conflicts can go on for a long period of time and this aggressive intruder may want to fight to the end.He either moves on or the aggression at the nest might lead to egg destruction or the worse case scenario!
Well captured! There's never a shortage of drama in the nests of ospreys. Love them to bits.

I was waiting to see where the attack would come from, and ZOOM! When you're in a bad neighborhood, it pays to be alert and ready for action.
that second flyby happened so fast that i barely saw the blur
Well ? What happened to the one that fell ?
Should be fine, they can fly backwards & sideways or even helicopter. Osprey are amazing raptors😊♥️
Dead
no probably just caught itself and flew
Wow I did not know that they could do that!! She ducted down so fast I was like 😱😱😱
Animallover123 Dragonlover123 ducked lol
That big guy was forced to fledge
But who is the attacker in this case?
Yo diría que es un juego de aprendizaje de uno de los padres...🤔
What kind of bird is attacking?
It was osprey on osprey crime. It's in the description
The old Scandinavian flick trick.
gave him a haircut!
Everybody looking for a nest...
hope the resident osprey are both okay - nature always provides drama
I wish there was bird language handbook
not an attack, a friendly visit!
Incluso pudiera ser una acción de los padres para tenerlos atentos, y para que aprendan a reaccionar ante posibles ataques de otros depredadores...🤔

1:43 RIP
That nest is up there.
Are the other chirps from other birds warning shouts since they've spotted the osprey flying?
That technical name of a Seahawk.
Government official disguised as an osprey wanting honorarium from an Osprey family
Wait are those young osprey? Why would another osprey do this?

Why are osprey nests attacked? Are ospreys bad neighbors or easy targets?
autotrance they taste good maybe?
easy targets plus they have oil maybe.
autotrance I like the way you put that. Bad neighbors or easy targets. That could apply to humans as well.
Because they always carry large amounts of cash!
@@Astronurd ha ha ha

XenomorphMaster The PredAlien Gamer search movies
Sylvia Kovessy oh good!

Nice video!
Why did the male intruder attack the male of the nest?
Fighting for breeding right's.These intruder's we call them, these conflicts can go on for a long period of time and this aggressive intruder may want to fight to the end.He either moves on or the aggression at the nest might lead to egg destruction or the worse case scenario!
thank you.
Even birds can't get along. What hope is there for humanity? NONE....
❤🎉
Why did the female punch the male out of the nest like that? Do they give males only one chance to prove themselves useful in crisis situations?
she didn`t punshed him out. He tried to catch the intruder. Male surely went back after a few time.
is the osprey that fell okay tho? ;o
Lol no he is dead.
