There are so many thousands of bands out there, and find myself choosing these guys as my favorite. How does that happen? Because these dudes know how to make beautiful melodies and beautiful ideas in their music. I hope to only do half as much as these guys have for the world. Rock on, Switchfoot. Rock on.

I saw switchfoot live tonight at Heavenfest with my best friend Danielle and we both left the concert feeling absolutely changed. It was the best concert I've ever been to. They sang this song and I don't think I've ever felt more connected to a group of people or Jesus more than in that moment when we were all singing the chorus at the tops of our lungs. Danielle is moving soon and I've barely lived life without her, we blasted this song on repeat on or way back home from the concert and cried together and stuck our heads out the car windows and let the wind catch us. This song is so filled with life and sadness and beauty that I don't know what else to say but thank you God for this beautiful, terrifying life you have given me

One of my favorite songs! My husband, our sons and I used it for morning energy fuel this summer as we drove 8,000 miles across the nation and back in only 24 days. When we make the video of our footage for friends and family to see, you better believe this will be playing in the background. LOVE that they used family and togetherness in their video! Spot on.
