Had the luck of having seen it twice. Brilliant movie. BRILLIANT casting. Ari was genuinely EXACTLY how i imagined him, down to the sound of his voice.
The way the thunder growls right after he says "I don't kiss boys". Poetic Cinema...
oh i haven't watched this film but from this clip alone i know i'll love it. the actors look excellent, the cinematography and soundscape both seem so amazing (i mean the wind and the thunder? the timing of that?) and also the visual storytelling, oof. dante wearing his glasses while he nervously asks ari about the rules, but then removing them to tell him how much his support means to him, i love that. i love this, i hope it's available in my country soon :)
The way Reese delivered Dante's dialogue pierced right into my heart the same way the book version had. I can't believe he's just a kid here; he looks like he's such a good actor.
I really wanna watch this movie, even if it is only to see how Reese plays my lovely Dante.
After watching this clip my expectations for the movie just skyrocketed.
The books and the film were just the best. Even though I'm not a teen, this story has taught me a few things about life, about the universe. When Ari is in the pool and he says my name is Aristotle I almost shot into the universe.

I haven't even seen this movie but I'm already in love with it ans it's cast, I know about this movie about maybe since last year or the beginning of this year and ever since than I've been waiting to watch it and I'm so excited to watch it. Dante and Ari, I love them sm already, I never had or been in a relationship, but I can relate to Dante so much, and I can't wait to see how their story will play out ( I mean I've heard what happens in a movie but I didn't heard the ending so I'm so excited to see their love story to unfold right infront of my eyes ). This is already one of the nest teen boys' love stories, yet

In the sequel book, Ari confirms that he identifies as gay rather than bisexual or anything else.
Really? I thought it was sort of ambiguous, Dante shut it down quick when Ari thought he might like girls, it’s not explored beyond that conversation.
