LONG LIVE HIS HOLINESS THE 14th DALAI LAMA 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
I pray for many years of your good health & happiness.
With the existence of Buddha nature of living beings in mind, we should respect and be sincere in our interaction. At time depending on situation arising, mercifully and wisely correcting that person with strictness of such is necessary. That person's Buddha nature reflects our own sincerity and will be reflected appropriately like a mirror. Cherish life with the same deep respect as we treat the Buddha, and the Buddha nature of that life will act as a protector. On the other hand, if we despise or disdain it, we will also be disparaged and our actions will be reflected like a mirror. In the inner realm of life, cause and effect occur simultaneously. This cause and effect relationship will manifest in the phenomenal world of daily life. May everyone be clear and remember this, and continue our daily practice carefully with wisdom, courage and compassion according to the teachings of the Buddha. Do your best for world peace and the happiness of all beings. 🙏
Thank you His Holiness for your precious Guidance 🌹🙏So happy to see you smiling and healthy 🙏🌹

Looking forward to receiving Day 2 lecture from online in Singapore. All of you, please stay safe and well.
Am always happy to see and listen to his explanation from his experience. Please take good care of yourself. Walking slowly is fine, it is still every step forward for Buddhism and happiness for all beings as tasked by the Buddha. Your team of assistants should be given the thumbs up for the compassionate assistance in such an endeavour. May all be in good spirits and well beings in such noble tasks as true disciples in the era of disciples. 🙏
Wonderful recitation by young beings.🙏🙏🙏😊😊😊

Never deviate from this course of Buddhism being reflected in life, living and society with the aim of becoming trustworthy, persevering and forward-looking.
It is through the certain steps we take in daily life that a magnificent future of peace and kosen-rufu is brought closer.
It is the light of your humanity that gives it its brilliance. Do not forget that Buddhism is reflected in life, living and society. Take compassionate action for others; manifest proof as a person valued at work; be the foundation for happiness and harmony at home and the light of good sense in society. 🙏
Peaceful ❤
He touches on Dependent Origination, "Pratityasamutpada" in Sanskrit, is a key concept in Buddhist philosophy. It describes the process by which phenomena arise and exist dependent on other factors. The states of dependent origination are:
1. Ignorance (avidya): Lack of understanding, leading to misperceptions and misconceptions.
2. Volitional actions (samskara): Actions driven by ignorance, creating karmic imprints.
3. Consciousness (vijnana): Arising of consciousness based on previous actions and experiences.
4. Mind and body (nama-rupa): Development of mental and physical aspects of existence.
5. Six sense bases (salayatana): Formation of the six senses (eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind).
6. Contact (phassa): Interaction between the senses and their objects.
7. Feeling (vedana): Experience of pleasure, pain, or neutral sensations.
8. Craving (tanha): Desire for pleasant experiences and avoidance of unpleasant ones.
9. Clinging (upadana): Attachment to experiences, ideas, and objects.
10. Becoming (bhava): Cycle of birth, growth, and death, driven by clinging and craving.
11. Birth (jati): Physical birth, influenced by previous actions and karma.
12. Aging and death (jara-marana): Inevitable consequences of birth, leading to suffering.
These states are not seen as a linear progression but rather as interconnected and interdependent factors, perpetuating the cycle of existence (samsara). Understanding dependent origination helps Buddhists break free from this cycle through the Eightfold Path and Four Noble Truths.

A traditional and timeless approach! In Buddhist tradition, memorisation and recitation of texts were indeed a common starting point for students. This approach helped students:
- Familiarise themselves with the teachings
- Develop a strong foundation in the scriptures
- Cultivate mindfulness and concentration through repetition
Later, with the guidance of qualified teachers, students would move beyond mere memorisation to:
- Analyse and interpret the texts
- Understand the deeper meanings and contexts
- Apply the teachings to their lives and spiritual practice
This gradual progression from memorisation to understanding, under the guidance of wise teachers, allowed students to deepen their knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual growth. Thus with profound respect, compassion, gratitude, and appreciation to all our teachers. 🙏 Ever since the passing of Buddha, the era of disciples began and was tasked to take his place to propagate the dharma for the betterment of living beings. This vow continues till now and is crucial to the future for Buddhism to be transmitted truthfully to benefit the peace and happiness of all living beings.
PEACE❤🙏
