Hi ! This is what I call Jazz ! Can somebody tell me, perhaps Julian Lage himself, which brand is that Arch-top that J.Lage is playing with? I'm very intrested by the guitars, and I like the sound of this one. I've clicked twice on "I like" cause I can't put 5* no more, but good video, good musicians, well filmed. Hope having an answer. BYE !
I don't think this guy actually exist. I mean if he did he would be like a cultural icon, right? I mean, you can't do anything that well and innovative without getting your face printed on a t-shirt. This is like a cultural revolution. The music of the new age, right? I mean, it's deep, ironic, rhythmically sick, profound and it makes you fucking think! I'm telling you, don't believe in him :D!
meh Im not getting as excited as i do when I listen to Pat metheny. still this dude is awesome, i'm 18 and I won't be playing that well next year or for another few lol. Great playing nonetheless
Julian Lage is the next big thing in jazz guitar. Mark my words.
After 12 years, we can say you were right!
Just stunning command of the instrument and the time - what a find. Grammy nomination well deserved. Good luck Mr. Lage.
He's sure grown up since we first saw him at age 12 in Healdsburg, CA. The best musician to come out of Sonoma County in a long while!
He smiles the whole time... I would too!
This has made my year, absolutely stunning!
Awesome! Julian has a really unique sound as young as he is. i love it! And I also love the Miles portrait lol. perfect!
Great! Can't wait to share the stage in May with ya Julian, what a great room!

@yougotcrad1seeing as though Pall and Julian have a different style it's hard to compare. their phrasing is so different
What's the tune? It seems vaguely familiar!
name of the standard??
@xjuanxandresx Ode to Elvin. A Lage original :)
Moldy old figs.
sometimes I feel like Julian's musicality has gone in the gutter the past few years....
