That advice of letting the jackfruit grow tall instead of keeping short stuck in mind for some reason. Interesting concept. I will plant a jackfruit like that.
I like the idea of having some trees really tall so that there's more space near the ground for other fruiting trees.
The look of heavenly blessed on the man's face at the end was priceless. What a kodak moment!
That was fun. I have jackfruits ‘Xiane’, ‘Excalibur red’, ‘Pepe’s video’ in the ground that I planted this year, and then I have orange crush, Borneo red and some seedlings that are around 4 years old. So far the Borneo red is the only producer.
@@venkatkrishna3180 hi, my friend does grafting and she traded with a collector in my area that had the tree sent from Florida. He’s been in tropical fruits for over 30 years and so he is respected and well connected, and he is on the tropical fruit forum contributing regularly.
Just planted my Xain Soft in the ground yesterday! Vigorous grower.
Very interesting! I have a three year old grafted Golden Nugget that still hasn't flowered and it's pushing like 12-14 feet tall. Can't wait to try it.

Rain during fruiting season ruins the taste of jackfruit and also causes them to crack prematurely

Also, cam focus could be helped on small fruit pieces by putting the piece in your full hand covering the whole frame.

Pete Kanaris from GreenDreamsTV here on UA-cam had fruit on a jackfruit tree 1 1/2 years old jackfruit seedling, I don't know what variety it is/was.

Do they sell the actual fruit? Where can I buy good jackfruit near Palm Beach Gardens? When I get them at the grocery store, they are never that good.
they don't sell the fruit, 45th street in WPB there is a store called foodtown that sell jackfruit but it is never really good there.
