I have no idea how to thank you all, but here is my cover of "Merry Go-Round of Life" from Howl's Moving Castle, which so many of you wanted me to play. Months of practice and dozens of takes went into this and I hope you like the result!

Yeah it's really difficult but very rewarding! I'm sure you can do it, someday. I think the official arrangement from the "Freedom" piano book is a bit easier, if you want to check that out. I just like Mercuzio's arrangement more because it was more detailed.
+ThePandaTooth if you wanted details, you probably could perform Kyle Landry's version, am i right?
Actually, Kyle Landry's version is much more loose interpretation. There's lots of embellishments and extra notes, which isn't a bad thing but Mercuzio's version is much closer to the actual song.

I get that there's always going to be more views on the synthesia videos because people are constantly coming back to learn, but I'm surprised that this isn't getting more attention. This song almost single handedly made me learn how to play piano and you played it amazingly.

Hello, excuse, how are you supposed to learn by using synthesia? Since I just have it and have a midi cable to connect it to my piano, but don't know what should I do xD Isn't better just having the sheet and practising it? :/

A lot of people can't really read sheet music, or prefer watching something they can both see and hear simultaneously
(I also prefer sheet music)
I use a mixture of sheets and synthesia to learn most music. It helps that if something doesn't sound quite right learning it from sheet you can use synthesia to check it and make sure you're lining up notes correctly.
Faggy Labrynth Synthesia also helps if you are unsure of a note and want to see it's placement on the piano.

The first time this came out, I brushed it off. I come back after watching Howl's Moving Castle, which I watched for seeing a Shamisen cover of this same piece. Now here I am admiring him while trying to memorize an easier arrangement of this piece.

How do u make the right hands melody so much crisper then the left. When I play, the left takes all of the sound....

That used to be me so I practiced hard to make sure the melody is better than my left hand. And now I’m learning a piece where the left hand is playing the melody...
It's because a normal piano makes the lower sound louder than the high ones.
It's one of the things I learned early on.
The right hand has to be louder so press the keys harder.
play more quietly and try to keep the right hand tilted and bright
It can also have to do with your piano in general. The one I play on is like literally 150 years old and so most of the upper octave keys have become much softer
