- Welcome back to the channel today. we will be taking a looking another one of season 20s buffed pokemon, and this one might have just slipper under the radar.
Forretress gained access to Volt switch, and this might just be the secret sauce of the Ultra league. Gaining access to this epectic type quick move helps it beat common water types such as Feraligatr Jellicent Tapu fini. Its immense defensive typing also enables it to beat the common psychic fairy and dragon types.
Today's featured battler Ben is not only showcasing this buffed pokemon, we have an entire team of buffed shadows as Golurk and Drapion are also making an appearance.

Shadow Fortress? I caught a 98% shadow last year I’ve been itching to build but no clue if it’s good anywhere. This looks like a fun team to showcase, as always JamieFin with the awesome content
Its not gonna be top meta, but its fun anti meta.
Struggles a bit with fast move damage into bulky thongs neutrally & mirror shot as primery charge move is bit poor.

@benevans6271 you made a very good play sniping that giratina as you was harder counter the entire battles
I tend to avoid 4 turn moves as they are often very difficult to align correctly, meaning you need to be really focused all the time to get the most out of them
Forretress is the sauce this season
Damn i've been wanting to try Foretress out since its buff! Looks to corebreak alot of teams 💪🏼
I apolegise for the bait on poli, it was stupid in all fairness. 😂
As for goliso on forre, i wanted to zave sheilds for the lurk, as its a pretty dominant matchup. With eq double resisted I was relectant to spend all that energy and did my typical horny for the debuff routine.

Mirror Shot really is such an underwhelming move
Forretress would be a monster if it gained access to something line magnet bomb. It need better charge moves in general

I thought it was basically forgotten. I have one shadow Forretress I've been slowly powering up, but I only have enough XL to get it to around 2400-2420, so I'm still waiting...

At the end of last season, I gained like 400 points with Slash zard poli it was such a good closer one day it will rise again
I love shadow forretress sm, been tryna get a shadow shiny to build for UL
I would run into to many Typhlosions and Skeliderges.😅
Typlision aint common, glassy, skeledirge did best me a few times for sure. Talonflame is more of an issue.
@hellofamily5757 the thing is UL is gators/ tentacruels territory so fore types are hard to run and fisrly uncommon
