Simply un-correct: in 1997 I was still marching on "Prinz Eugen Marsch" (Marcia del Principe Eugenio) during my service at Reggimento Piemonte Cavalleria 2° (Piemonte 2nd Cavalry Regiment) near Trieste.

Prince Eugenio di Savoia Carignano was Italian, as the Hapsburg Monarchy ruled over a multinational empire including the Duchy of Savoy, the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, the Duchy of Milan etc.....and many other Italian States. It was normal for armies at the time to have a multinational leadership too, for instance general Spinola was Italian in origin but commanded the Spanish army during the flemish campaign since his family had holdings in both Italy and Spain. If This simple fact of history annoys you or you simply hold grudges against the Italian people or other ethnicities that is your business, just Stop revising history on the web please.
