My dear Lord Jesus Christ, thank you at the beginning of the prayer. Because you are the God who gave me such a beautiful life. Lord, I worship you with my best love and awe, with sincere affection, with my most determined desire. Oh Lord Jesus, make my heart beat with your heart! Cleanse me from sin, envy, anger, all perversity, all disorder in me.
Lord, be with me from the beginning of each day until the night, so that the events of the day or the circumstances of the time do not mess up my life. Bless me, O my Lord, that I may not be exposed to poverty and misery. Lord, You know how unworthy I am of this infinite grace, and You alone can qualify me.
Dear Lord Jesus, you are so good that you know my joys and sorrows beforehand. Bless me like this and prepare me for you. Lord, make me in such a way that I will not be guilty of your body and blood for one small mistake. For this same precious blood, which Thou hast shed for me, O Jesus, deliver me from so great an evil.
O kindest and sweetest Jesus, I bow myself on my knees to your sight. Lord, with the most ardent desire of my soul, I pray and beseech Thee that Thou wouldst impress upon my heart living feelings of faith, hope, and charity.
