In the episode, the boys decide to get revenge on their art teacher for giving them detention by covering her house in toilet paper. Kyle starts having nightmares about the ordeal and is desperate to confess, but Cartman plans to kill him so he doesn't rat them out.
The episode was written and directed by series co-creator Trey Parker and is rated TV-MA L in the United States. The character Josh parodied Anthony Hopkins' portrayal of Hannibal Lecter in films based on the novels of Thomas Harris.

Sorry for the rough transitions, had to cut some stuff out so that the video doesn't get taken down by PMN.

I just realized one of the funniest parts of Cartman trying to kill Kyle on the boat with a whiffle ball bat, is that he had 2 perfectly good wooden oars on the boat he could have used instead. LOL

"We didn't say nothing about no kids man" lmao I love that Scarface quote and how it makes it into so many shows.

TP'ing someone's house/trees is indeed very much a thing in America.
Typically done the night before Halloween, we also used to egg random houses too.
It's a teenage thing though, I think it might've died down since I was younger.
I know my house definitely got it a few times as a kid.

Yo, the little clip of the girl going "WHY WHY" that you wondered about... It's actually a sad story, but not anything as devastating as a hurricane. I'll write a bit about it and why the writers of south park used the clip, if you're interested.
Nancy Kerrigan, the girl in the clip, was an Olympic ice skater. The clip is from the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, it was just after her rival Tonya Harding deployed two men to attack her with the intent to break Nancy's knee to stop her from competing (This was proven, as explained further down). They put her on the ground and bashed her knees with batons over and over again.
Tonya Harding was jealous because Nancy was better than her, and Tonya wanted the Olympic gold for herself
Luckily for Nancy the two men only managed to severely bruise her knees, and failed to break them, and so she recovered in time to skate in the Olympics and Tonya Harding also competed. But Nancy did not compete in the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.
But Harding was banned for life from U.S. Figure Skating very shortly after the event, after they found a written note from Tonya in a dumpster outside her hotel room, in Tonya's handwriting, with the address of the building where Nancy Kerrigan trained. Tonya was planning to attack her again more or less, or have someone else do it as she did the first time.
Nancy Kerrigan would likely have won the national title and taken the gold medal at the Olympics had she not been attacked.
The reason Matt and Trey used the clip in this south park episode was because at the time of the episode I believe the evidence of what actually happened had not surfaced yet, most of America believed Nancy was just overreacting and being a drama queen about it, and also were angry because she was trying to get Tonya Harding in trouble, which would significantly weaken the USA's chance at winning gold at the olympics, and back then figure skating was a hot topic compared to now. In fact, in the South Park movie 1999 there is an entire song sequence about Brian Boitano, US male olympic figure skater who won the Gold Medal at the Olympics for Team USA.
So, Matt and Trey were trying to say "look at these people being drama queens, and here's Nancy Kerrigan being one too".
Still very funny though, they've been wrong about a lot of things in the past and the jokes are still funny despite inaccuracy. Comedy isn't about right or wrong, its about making you laugh.
Hope that helped lmao, I'm tired now.

OMG, first of all thank you for the great explanation. Second of all, how fucked do you have to be to try and break someone's knees, wow!
It seems that it didn't age quite well for people who actually know the backstory, haha.
But, you know how it is in comedy, the more an event is able to shock you the more you laugh your ass off when you hear it in a comedic context.

@@Tolye They said she orchestrated her own attack
I never followed that closely (because I was born 3 years after it happened) but my understanding was she planned it herself.

Ummm....if anyone gets hit in the knee, with bruises.....it's not being dramatic to yell like that. The people who were saying so suck.

@@TolyeTPing is popular because it's very annoying to the home owner but doesn't actually cause any damage to the property.
Egging a house destroys paint and finishes, you can be seriously reprimanded for it. TP just dissolves next time it rains and doesn't do any damage, so worst case you get a talking to and have to clean it up.
Well assuming you're a minor, if you're an adult and TP somebody's house it probably wouldn't go as smooth lol

“I didn’t say nothing about no kids man” I think that was a reference to the movie Scarface.
You should react to medicinal fried chicken, season 14, episode 3. It’s largely based off the movie Scarface.

Speak for yourself. Growing up in the 90s, I saw it on more than one occasion. Heck, did it myself twice.
Also saw swirlies happen. One time, the kid got a serious neck injury because he grabbed the swirly-giver's nuts and twisted them, so the guy dropped him.

This is not harming anyone, this is not unhealthy, what you are doing is helping people. Even if it is just a few people who feel this way, coz I know I do, so that's an amazing accomplishment anyway. And I'm sure many more people will sub if you continue South Park reactions (in the way you come across/act/are).
