If u wanna stay in time with your reverb in every track all u need to do is : calculate *60000 / **_Tempo of song_** = **_Reverb time_* For exemple : *60000 / 125 (bpm of song)* = * 480 ( _reverb time_ )* If u wanna stay shorter all u need to do is divide the result by 2 For exemple: 480 / 2 = 240*
Cool seeing that Lexicon 224 used, I tend to always revert to the plate but am going to try your chamber setting on my BG Vox'! Thanks for sharing the knowledge, great sounding mix Danny! Peace + Love. =)
Thanks Mike! Don't get me wrong - those plate settings are preeeeeeetty cool on the 224. When I want a plate, though, lately I've been going for that Goldplate plugin I also used and just not looking back. The chamber setting on the Lexicon is also really ripe for "creative abuse" when you start messing with long predelay times IMO. Even for more vanilla uses, it's got this filthy "old school digital" vibe that I really like on that chamber setting. Cool on drums too!
