Words can't describe the nostalgia I felt at the ending. Hearing this soundtrack brought back countless memories. Journey into Madness is one of my all time favorite soundtracks and hearing it again in the dlc, absolutely amazing
@@michele3244 they absolutely did. From the first moment I was able to walk around, I felt like I was back in far cry 3. The world, the music, the vibes, it was amazing
This really opened my eyes to Vaas and this music, after 20 waves, made feel like he has finally freed himself from his sisters manipulation and he's finally his own man and not at the whims of Hoyt or Cittra. He is finally free.
Idc what anyone says, Far cry 3 is still better than every single other FC, and why ? Soundtrack, story, character development ( main ) , other characters, setting, aesthetics, animals, mood, tatau, and an actual reason for you to do all that stuff with a story that actually makes sense ( note : Vaas is only "alive" cuz ubisoft wanted to make money, just take is as non cannon, vaas is dead : confirmed by Pirates, Privateers, random encounters with privateers and some dialogues in certain missions )
@RealSlimShady 69 Yeah I didn't like how the other 2 most vicious villains in the franchise got some audio recordings. I mean we know how Joseph ends up in New Dawn, but what about pagan, they left it like all the endings could be possible, still, I want it a "video" conclusion of pagan Min.
@@Mamuff5 I think a fitting end for Pagan would be him just chilling in a luxurious apartment untill he suddenly hears news from Kyrat where King Ajay basically tells the truth about Pagan and Ishwari to the populace. Or maybe while he is sitting the helicopter after the "Spare Pagan ending" he looks over Kyrat and sees Ishwari and Lakshmana playing with each-other next to him with Pagan watching them in joy.
@@Mamuff5 Indeed. It would be really fitting considering that his whole goal in the DLC was to be with his family and now, in the form of hallucinations he will see them again.
First it was Jason's journey into madness... Now... It's Vaas's journey into freedom...

“No i don’t fucking need you you were never my light citra you were my darkness”
You could hear the pain and relief in his voice when he says that.

not sister
we need a far cry 3 remake
And thus, a hero was forged with this song, a man redeemed, reborn and molded into an angel.
Idk not necessarily an angel and also not redeemed but hes understood
@@DrHydra47 more like a insane man, but a free man nonetheless
Everything about your comment is wrong. He was freed. That’s about it.
This music, along with the voices of Vaas' own conscience pleading for him to walk away from all the madness... feel very enlightening.
Vaas: like the seed before the fruit, before the tree everything that we are is already inside of us
very much reminiscent of A Theme for Kjell from Battlefield 4
except this released before Battlefield 4
Yeah it reminded me of it a lot.
Dude this is my favorite song ever in far cry and I was waiting to get the dlc and they play this at the end?!?! they knew what they were doing🫡
“maybe…. maybe the real far cry was the friends we made along the way”

Yeah but then again in farcry 3 his body wasn't found nor mentioned and also jason "killed" him during a feverdream
👌🏽
Possibly early, Jason, BUT = with "Insanity" NEW YEAR
