One of the best versions I've seen. Different from but equal to Vivian Blaine's in the movie.
She is such a lovely woman. & does a good job on this. Has she done other Broadway?
She was the original understudy for Mary Martin in South Pacific and later took over the role of Nellie Forbush.
Of course her timing is impeccable. But for an artist of her stature, and with an orchestra that small, couldn't they have lowered the key so the song sat more comfortably in her vocal range?
Oy vey Robert, she’s manufacturing that sound on purpose so she sounds like she has a cold 🤦🏻♂️
