Hi Harika, yes client side validation can be done in asp.net web application. In fact, asp.net validation controls provide both client and server side validation. We discussed these validation controls in asp.net video series. Hope you will find them useful. Good Luck.

Hi Venkat, kudos for your tutorials and your service to the community.Ii m just trying to do the same client validation but with Required attribute. Its working only after submitting once. Range attribute client validation is working even before submitting. Any clue whats special about Required attribute?

Question regarding clientside validation - Why does client side validation not run when I have the any one of the following attributes [DateRangeAttribute("01/01/1980")] or [CurrentDate]? Is it because it is created as custom Attributes on server side? THX

Required validation is not working when the page load
(ex. page loaded > test when it works > not working > test again > it works now )
