Not confirmed. If Sam's leaks are to be believed then "No" Everyone's a "walking red flag" ; but the story has also shown that all actors in play aren't who they seemed as well. Acheron being an Emanator of "Death" might be true; but as we saw with Adventurine/Black Swan/Sparkle/Sunday/Firefly; the truth is buried on what they show to us in the first place, similar to how Penacony seems to be the land of dreams, but ultimately there's "terror" underneath all of it. If I had to guess, they're not dead, but rather potentially unable to interact with the dreamscape anymore in some way or form, and Acheron is actually there to "kill" the dreamscape in a way. I do lean on the idea that Penacony (Dream) is under one singular person's dream, that's perpetually stuck to keep the dream world going, mostly with that whole shtick about Mikael being thrown in that true dreamscape area.
