I bought this charger recently, but I'm actually a bit disappointed. Tried two phones with fast charging and with robust USB cables. But Baseus would charge them only at 5 V / 2 A which is 10 W. Next thing is the display - I expected it would indicate the car voltage and in case anything is connected also the voltage and current of the connected equipment. But it's not like that. It cycles 5 informations ALL THE TIME, each one being displayed for 5 seconds: 1) car voltage 2) USB C voltage 3) USB C current 4) USB A voltage 5) USB A current The last four are useless when nothing is connected, right? They're just 5 V / 0 A. So why display them??? That menas if you miss your car voltage, you have to wait at least 20 seconds for it to show up again... 😞
Hi, do you still use the baseus adapter for MacBook charging using Jackery? Is it working still after two years passed or there were some problems? Thanks
Watt = volt x ampere. If a laptop need 60w power, then the charger should be produce 5 ampere or upper as 60w/12v = 5 ampere. Every car have it own fuse/breaker if the power goes upper than it should. More power = more heat. Usually fuse break at 15amp for accessories. Below than that is safe to use. Same goes to ac power, if the utilities use 60w, then 60w/240v ac = 0.25ampere is used for powering up the utilities. Lowest breaker in the market is 16 ampere. Which can withstand 240v x 16amp = 3840w which is same to using 2x2hp wall air conditioner. More than that will break/off the circuit.
I am using the Baseus car adapter since 1,5 years until now. Very satisfied.
Good to hear!
great video to show with 12V input we can have 20V output, the important point about that is using 5A type C cable
Thanks. I'm glad you find it useful.
Yes it's a brilliant charger, I'm happy with mine . Super fast charging
Good to hear
That’s a pretty neat charger, especially considering I could literally charge my laptop with it!
Yep, it's so compact for a 65W charger!

It is still ideal to charge at home, to be sure, but if you happen to forget, you should also use such a car charger.
This car charger is so compact for 65W, so why not work in the car? LOL

I agree, if only a physical button is included for manual display mode selection that would be ideal.
Hi, do you still use the baseus adapter for MacBook charging using Jackery? Is it working still after two years passed or there were some problems? Thanks
Yes, it still works great. I don’t necessarily use it with the Jackery. I also use it in the car.
The 12V outlet is powered by the 12V accessory battery, not the high voltage one lol
Sadly the 12V battery in Tesla is still a traditional lead-acid one.
So this can charge my tablet at 65W right?
If your tablet can take in 65W, yes.
@@ToolsElectroDIY Thanks mate.
I have 2 samsung devices capable of charging at 25 watts each can it charge them both at the same time at 25 watts?
The USB-A cannot provide 25W
I don't understand electricity, but it sounds like this would be good for someone doing the van life. What else could it charge in a van?
It's pretty easy to understand, watch ua-cam.com/video/xae_LktvTFM/v-deo.html
@@ToolsElectroDIY Thanks for the link. My dad was an electrician; I just know how to turn on a switch 😄
Great device and great video !!! Can you charge your Jackery with your car ???
Yes you can. The Jackery accepts the type-c PD input around 50W.
If the socket is 12V and the charger is 65V then how does that work
The charger has 65W power output, not 65V.
@@ToolsElectroDIY so 12V is higher than 65W?
