I was not talented either! If you would watch me when I was a kid (I started singing like 6-7) I was pitchy, weak voice haha. I think I talked about this before but through all those years I watched so many singers grow. The hard workers that might not start with a lot of talent usually overweight hyper talented people. They work HARDER, they dont take stuff for granted. Every singing skill they have have been rehearsed to no end.

Yeayy 🎉🎉 I’m looking for your perspective in the technicality, which is very precise and detail. She is so young but she had already learned a lot, and we’re looking forward to see MORE from her. Cant imagine her in her 20s, 30s. I watched her live performance in Babymonster fanmeeting (and THEY ARE ALL MONSTERS in live performance!!) But I was amazed on how Rami remembered foreign language so fast, so that time I quickly made assumption that she is fast learner, and I agree with you when you said she must be learn and explore a lot of singing technique by listening wide variety of music. What I love in Rami is that she is smart and confident. Going from her audition (see "Introducing Haram") - where she seemed not very talented - to her evaluations... Boy, how did she grow up, adding skills one on the top of others... So, at LMS, great choice of songs to showcase all (all?) of what she can do. I first enjoyed Bloodsucker. Then the beauty of the duet. Finally succumb at City burns. I like her whistle voice and how she goes from chest to head to whistle so naturaly. Loved also her cover of Pick up your feelings and of Dinosaur at Knowing Bros. I'm happy she's just seventeen., we will hear from her for a long time. She's a diamond among other gems. I vowed to make sure to mention it with every artist on these shows, mainly because I feel how perception of "live vocals" have been super warped for people, which puts INSANE pressure on idols. They are so uncomfortable and scared of raw vocals then - even the tiniest mistake would be completely scrutinized because people expect raw vocals to sound like the show vocals do. I just hope with this I can help normalize it and elevate the pressure a bit. And maybe hopefully? We can see more raw or very little post produced vocals in the future. YG actually did very well with It´s Live and Lee Mujin here, it is very natural in comparison to what we usually get these days.

I also really like Rami's voice color. From low notes to high notes, it has a unique and strong character. Especially when using a husky, deep and powerful chest voice. The way Rami sings high notes with her powerful chest voice in the song Dream really amazes me. It reminds me of Perry Edwards' high notes, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion. Good day Katriinka. I was wondering if/when you might react to this so excited that this video popped up on YT this morning. I couldn't wait to get to my office and watch. She just finished "City Burns" and although I don't have any technical training or knowledge of the terms you are explaining, I hear every little nuance, riff, run, change in vocal tone as Rami sings them and I know they are quality vocals. I just don't know why I know. Thankfully, your explanations help me to understand more about the technique and process that she practices and performs. Although I don't have a single bias in the group, because as you said, they have 7 unique and beautiful vocal tones so I bias all 7. However, I give Rami a slight edge over the other vocalists in the group with her vocal abilities. We have only heard Rora in small doses since their debut, and she slays it ever time, so I'm patiently waiting for Rora to be showcased with some chorus lines and maybe some lines that show her range and power as well.
The way YG hits jackpot on all their vocal singers. All are edgy and very very unique. Love our baby Rami being all confident on her own here, because she should be! She's very very talented and her voice is very angelic. I can't stop listening to her even during her high notes!

It wasn't Rami's intention to sing the song 'My Love' here on this show. She was asked by Mujin to sing it impromptu after she storied that this song was the one that made her discover the vocal tone that she has right now. It was when she sang it during one of her evaluations. It's the most memorable moment in her trainee days.
I can't help but imitate Babymonster whenever I listen to a performance by any of the members. I just have to sing along even if I don't know the song. This video taught me that apparently I do in fact have a whistle registry. I just went for it when Rami did the whistle note in Bloodsucker. You’re absolutely right about what you said. I also really like Rami's voice color. From low notes to high notes, it has a unique and strong character. Especially when using a husky, deep and powerful chest voice. The way Rami sings high notes with her powerful chest voice in the song Dream really amazes me. It reminds me of Perry Edwards' high notes, Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion. Belting with a full, powerful voice. I hope Rami sings high note belting with chest voice more often in the future. It's really amazing. I listen to kpop songs because of Rami. Her ability is really amazing. I hope she can make a global solo debut later.

Good day Katriinka. I was wondering if/when you might react to this so excited that this video popped up on YT this morning. I couldn't wait to get to my office and watch. She just finished "City Burns" and although I don't have any technical training or knowledge of the terms you are explaining, I hear every little nuance, riff, run, change in vocal tone as Rami sings them and I know they are quality vocals. I just don't know why I know. Thankfully, your explanations help me to understand more about the technique and process that she practices and performs.
Although I don't have a single bias in the group, because as you said, they have 7 unique and beautiful vocal tones so I bias all 7. However, I give Rami a slight edge over the other vocalists in the group with her vocal abilities.
We have only heard Rora in small doses since their debut, and she slays it ever time, so I'm patiently waiting for Rora to be showcased with some chorus lines and maybe some lines that show her range and power as well.

The way YG hits jackpot on all their vocal singers. All are edgy and very very unique. Love our baby Rami being all confident on her own here, because she should be! She's very very talented and her voice is very angelic. I can't stop listening to her even during her high notes!

It wasn't Rami's intention to sing the song 'My Love' here on this show. She was asked by Mujin to sing it impromptu after she storied that this song was the one that made her discover the vocal tone that she has right now. It was when she sang it during one of her evaluations. It's the most memorable moment in her trainee days.
I can't help but imitate Babymonster whenever I listen to a performance by any of the members. I just have to sing along even if I don't know the song. This video taught me that apparently I do in fact have a whistle registry. I just went for it when Rami did the whistle note in Bloodsucker. You’re absolutely right about what you said.
