Carla Quadraccia, known as Carlotta (Rome, November 3rd, 1975), is an Italian singer.
In 1999, she signed with Carosello Records and released her first single, "Mi chiamano Candy," followed by "Baciami adesso."
In 2000, she was nominated for the Italian Revelation award at the first edition of the Italian Music Awards.
In May 2000, she released "Frena," her most successful song, from her debut album "Smack!" The song became a summer hit and was used in a campaign for road safety.
Later, she released the single "Sette lavatrici" in September 2000.
In March 2001, she participated in the Sanremo Festival with the song "Promessa," securing fifth place in the "Giovani" section and releasing her second album. In June 2001, she released the single "Caresse toi" and participated in Festivalbar.
In 2002 and 2003, she released the singles "Gelosia" and "L'hai fatto mai l'amore in mezzo al mare?," her last solo single with Carosello Records.
In 2006, Carlotta started a folk music project called Scarlatto and released a studio album the same year.
In 2009, she sang at the solidarity concert "Amiche per l'Abruzzo" for the victims of the L'Aquila earthquake. Since 2010, she has been a teacher at the C.E.T. of Mogol.
In 2020, she released a new single titled "Cos'è la vita."
In 2025, she returned to TV as a contestant on the third edition of "Ora o mai più," hosted by Marco Liorni on Rai Uno.
