    Chairman. You're a legend. I watched this video over 10 times. I could understand what you were saying but couldn't implement it because the video was blurry. Then I went to the comments section and saw someone's comment that the video was blurry which you responded to. Now not only have I learnt how to use tabs correctly, I have learnt how to upgrade video quality on UA-cam. Thanks brother. I was frustrated at first but now I'm gooood

    I've been looking for a video like this since 2014. Liked, saved, favorited, and sent myself a link for when I inevitably forget the next time I need to update my resume lol. Thank you soooo much!

    Watched more than 4 videos with vague explanations, this was explicit, even though it was blurred. thank you!

      Thanks, if you change the video quality it should take care of the blurr.

    I'm in Microsoft 365 but for me, in the toolbar, I have the ruler, but I do not have the horizontal tabs for 'Clipboard', 'Font', 'Paragraph', 'Styles' etc. How do I make these options visible?

    • @mrjonathanrgperry
      @mrjonathanrgperry  2 роки тому +1

      Sorry I didn't reply. This should help:
      Step 1: Click on the view tab and select to show the ruler.
      Step Two: Right-click on the ruler in the document and you should be able to "Insert Tab Stop"
      From there you should be able to select:
      Position: 6.5" was the end of my document
      Tab Alignment: Right
      Leader: None
      I hope this helps.

      @@mrjonathanrgperry how do you get the text to stop moving? This comment helped a lot but when I hit enter to type more text it’s like the tab stop doesn’t save. Thank you!

      @@priscillaharding3271 are you starting from a new document, or are you trying to add a tab stop on an already existing document?

      @@mrjonathanrgperry a new one. I figured it out- if you are on a Mac right click on the ruler, click the arrow next to the insert tab option. This lets you choose left, center, or right tab! Also, do you know how to save formatting when downloading word to pdf? Thank you!

    • @mrjonathanrgperry
      @mrjonathanrgperry  2 роки тому

      @@priscillaharding3271 ah yes, the tab button on a Mac is in a similar spot, but it does look different.
      Word to PDF should hold formatting. If you're having issues with that it could be a font package problem, but I have to admit that I am not certain.

    The fact that they don’t just have one button to do this escapes me
