Thank you for this information. Your reporting is good. Don't let others challenge your ability to report on what you are an expert on and how to present the facts. You're an archeologist and a reporter. You done good. ☠☠☠
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. The television series Jamestown has helped to draw millions of people to the history of the ear,y settlers. sadly it’s the last and final series where the research into the real Jamestown has only just started! John Dundee. Scotland 🏴
I want to get a copy of Col. Yonge's book - so I can find where my Jamestowne ancestors lived! Thank you for the interesting overview. I agree that cursive is a challenge to read!!
Good job, very informative. In regard to reading early settler’s handwriting, hang in there...it is something of an acquired taste. I have learned mostly by doing...my family tree documents have spurred me on. Just think of all the little tid bits you will uncover...it is a very interesting thing to see how people worded things, and usually with much careful thought and choice of just the correct words went into their correspondence n, it was not considered appropriate to blurt out a lot of meaningless slang. So, we are holding our collective breath to hear what’s next! Thanks so much! 👍💥✍🏻📽👀😊
If you have any indication that he's related to Christopher Younge (Yonge) of Southwold England & Southold, Long Island, please let wave a note. He was my 11x great grandfather. They arrived in the early 1600s

Great content and work, but I dare anyone to take a shot everytime someone on this series says ummm lol
I dare you to stop judging and making rude comments when people go outside of their comfort zone
that old hand-writing, is hard to read, huh?
