Both team played a fantastic game..gotta say that they are gigantic for their age 👏
All that good orange juice.
How on earth do you clean out like while the ruck was formed already and you will not get the ball..He was not thinking at all. Red card well deserve.. From a bok supporter
It was so silly, having one less man on the pitch cost us the game!
@@TheShmangz you probably wouldve lost either way. Springboks cant catch a ball, have 0 backline plays, cant scrum, cant defend mauls and cant string half a dozen phases together without turning it over. embarrassing.
@@peterhunter6040Ja. It's shocking how bad our set piece has been the last 2 years. They have the meat, but the coaching is clearly lacking. Van Heerden can call lineouts for the Bulls at senior level (in the Champions Cup no less) but here he looks like a schoolboy who skipped a weeks training. Some of the decision making is also painfully stupid. If you are kicking into the wind in the pouring rain and can't get distance or hit your target, STOP F-CKING KICKING. I've never seen a team so resistant to thinking things through.
even worse is that he didn't even come through the gate, just skipped the first couple of guys entirely.Moronic play
@@privatebaldric8767 bro its the effects of covid, we recovered slower than these countries so the players have had less training. Imagine losing out on 17-19 training for 2 years, its absolutely massive. Needs recovering in core skills, thats what u20s is for, hopefully theyre putting in work behind the scenes
Loving U20s rugby at the moment. The standard across the board, including the world trophy, is brilliant! I can only see international rugby getting more and more competitive, which can only be a good thing. This tournament will help level things up at world cup U20 level too, so that's great too.
These men will all be excellent rugby league players in a matter of years.
Not a good look to see so many cards at this level, the next generation of boks need to tighten up. Well done aussies, finally playing clean rugby at a high high level.
I wish NZers would have this attitude to red cards. It's not the red cards that ruin games, it's the players who dont learn how to tackle safely
@@falkkiwiben nah
@@falkkiwiben Agree. I've been saying this none stop when even months after the World Cup Final Some Kiwis still moan over the cards.
Australians normally play clean rugby unlike eye gouging boks
@@falkkiwiben The sport has been ruined by giving the match officials too many and easy opportunities to hand out cards for often non dangerous or damaging actions. Red cards have their place, but don't set the bar so low.
Well done, Aussies, those Saffers were a tough outfit.
Sunshine Coast - raining all day flooding the next.
Surf's pumping so hardly complaining if you can swim.
Well done Australia 🇦🇺 ‼️💪
This competition is awesome. 👏🏽 Its about time
Clean line by bester 🔥
Get up and dust yourself off boys. We will get there.
As a person that follow schoolboy rugby in South Africa it is very hard to watch what pathetic rugby these boys are playing. There is unbelievable talent in that team. At school these young men played ball in hand attacking rugby. To see them reduced to one deminsional "stampkar" rugby is a real shame. For the coach to decide to play this type of rugby with the talent he has available is very disappointing. God help us the day Rassie moves on.😅
Selection policies are killing our game
Agree. Based on raw talent alone after watching all 4 games so far, south africas u20 have got the most talented players. Their raw talent is what keeping them in the fight. Pity the coaching and game plan is whack. Massive effort from them boys though, down to 14 most of the game and then lose another for the last few minutes and still made ilthe game very competitive 🫡
What is Stampkar rugby?
@@CalTheKiwi1 basically, its all force and now flair.
Hope this clears things up for you.
Not to be disrespectful, but South African supporters claim that's their DNA. That's how the Springboks have been playing for years.
As a Boks supporter I miss playing a competitive Aussie team. These u20 give us hope for the future of Australian rugby. South Africa has alot more in common with Aus and Nz than Europe in terms of culture so we're rooting for you!
We have a lot more in common with the UK than you. That’s where most of us originate from pal.
@BertFlashman I meant rugby culture.. not the bogus slave owner part. Yall can have that 🫶🏾
@@ifubeats4063 slave owners? We were convicts. And rugby wise Aus and the Kiwis are similar but not the boks. The boks play boring rugby.
@@BertFlashman sure..
Min 31:34 shoulder and head to Julies lorenzo no card or nothing..shocking aus should have a red aswell.comentator says juiles up ended😮😅 very bias ref bias.cant handle crowd
Hold the L lil salty saffa
@@leodwyer5278 and that's why we have 4 world cups and not 1😂 but we should have 6 if we were on all the world cups a d then aus would have none😂😂😂😂
Aussie player was tackled, knees on grouns
Great character and creativity shown by the Boks to at times score with only 13 men on the pitch
When were they down to 13?
@@dane1056 Are they playing with the 20 minute red card? If so my bad. Only watched these highlights not the full match
@@liamferreira8912 I believe so. The red card indicator was gone later in the game so I assume so.
@@dane1056 I was shocked when the indicator was gone and counted 15 again, didn't know that's what's going on.
Yeah that red card wasn't warranted, it didn't look like a high degree of danger, yellow yes but red sketchy at best.
No way that was a red card.
NZ viewer.
Nice. Go Aussies.
First btw
You were not first.
Taught the wallabies hate playing in the rain they played very well
Well done Oz.
The baby blacks will need to go down to 14 early on for the aussies to have a chance
20 minute red cards are the only way forward for this sport and those Europeans are too stubborn to realise that.
Shocking display by the baby boks defence.
South African teams are bad when it comes to defense, the Sharks shocked me on the weekend. Springboks were good under Nienabar, we'll see their defense looks now😅
This weather is ruining the games. Eish, the boys should learn to leave a lost ruck alone.
But it's the sunshine coast!
ARU will be happy but this result is just a smoke screen. Congrats to juniors on the win.
well done aus
great win - not easy conditions, some decision making can improve and that will pay dividends
The Aus 9 taking a step with the last pass needs to have that trained out of him
Bok discipline not good. Cost them dearly. Good win Oz.
Boks dissapline absolutely awful ! Cost them the game !
Baba bokke se dissipline het hul die wedstryd gekos !!!!
Shame the one dude is not Kolbe yet in tackling.
They need to call up Likhona Finca, his been on form this year watched his varsity cup and his game debut game against the Cheetahs the boy scored 2 tries of the bench and it was his first time playing wing, his too good play him anywhere his will adapt and play
I'm glad Australia won that because there's a 0% chance South Africa got that ball over the line for that first try.
Rose is red violet is blue
Shock horror Sth africa getting pinged for dangerous head charge. pity the World cup TMO's were so biased.
TMO played well ! 😂
We'll take the win, but it is safe to say that the Junior Boks would have won easily if it had remained 15 vs 15. The modern game is blighted by way too many red cards for often quite frivolous fouls that didn't harm an opposition player. The state of the sport in Australia is very poor due to having too many other football codes to compete with.
i doubt it, they scored onnce in that 20 minute period and the trys the boks scored were pretty flukey just like last week. the Aussie trys were well put-together set piece trys.
and while i agree that red cards are given out a bit too often, the bloke in the video got put on a stretcher from a absolutely r3tarded headbutt
@@peterhunter6040 My comment about cards was a general statement about the sport, not specific to this game. We disagree on how this game would have panned out if it had remained 15 vs 15. At least the scrum and ruck did better than against the Argies when they were obliterated.
@@gustaaf1892 wallabies performance was especially impressive this time around considering the springbok team clearly had the superior athletes and bigger and stronger players.
As a Kiwi, Aussie player wasn't injured. Fuck that isn't a red card...
Come on SAffas, the Aussies have very little to celebrate these days - Let them have this one.
I wouldn't be making fun of Australia since it has alot to Celebrate, like a safe country, low crime, low poverty, quality education, even running Electricity throughout our country.

@thabomazwayi4422 you lost last time you came to Australia in Adeliade so I'd suggest being quiet
Did Australia win because of, or despite of the Mullets.
Makhubela cost us the game

that penalty try was a joke call
Absolutely fantastic to see our young aussies get up. Well done fella's 😊👍
Should have been a double red card for that type of behaviour.......
was it a 20 minute red card?
Australia couldnt put Sth Africa with one player down.....RA needs to get moving with basics
Time to try a new coach
That didn't impress me, I think SA had bad calls go against them, NZ viewer.
I mean, this is the score even with all odds against us? Wow I'm impressed young boks, imagine if we never got no cards but unfortunately it doesn't work that way
Well it could. Up to your lads really.
"All the odds against us". Lol the bok persecution fetish lives on
It could lmao just learn to be disciplined. Didn’t see the Boks getting red cards for the entirety of the RWC apart from the final…😂
Sounds like the RWC final
Done with Australian rugby its joke watching the antics of the last 6 to 8years of Rugby Australia .
Play the game against a 15 men team, different story.
I follow rugby league not union so forgive my ignorance but if someone is given a red card can they use a substitute or are the team down a player for the rest of the game?
Down a player for rest of the game
No its a 20 min red card the player cannot return but the side will have 15 on the field @alexjack5158

Ozzies celebrating 🤣 Baby boks won that all the way! 1man down majority of the game! Even teams guarantee boks win hands down! Well done boys
Didnt realize 25 minutes constituted "the majority of the game". Interesting to hear your take on the World Cup final.
New Zealanders are very card inclined.
Lets trust in the Lord Jesus❤❤❤
What position does he play?

Was every aussie lineout thrown skew?

You obviously have short mmories of the recent WC.
Don't wanna say it's a clear ref fault but at 0:50 you could clearly see Jurenzo get high tackled. It could only be a mistake. But just using this as one example.
Robbed
Wow, Australia just had to win this one, the officials made sure of that.
Fuckn TMO.. again
Australian ref and TMO what a fucking joke
Australia won by Red Card. 😂 Facts.
I am done with rugby. Ruined by red cards for “head contact”. Boxing still exists where the sole objective is to bash someone’s head in but rugby has to put up with accidental stuff!
ausies will be aussies...steeling....
Terrible defence
When the refs want to be the center of attention instead of the Rugby,
13 against 15. Well if you Ausies are happy with the score you are in for a rude awakening when its 15 on 15
The Liverpool of rugby always the victims.
What a stupid thing to say
how is that a redcard? yet every cleanout in rucks is x10 worse and game goes on!! we are killong sport with these fairy rules🤮
How many Boks will fail the drugs test in this team. Investigative journalists believe the last 2 RWC's have been won by a drug cheat SA team. Two injured SA players made record recovery from injuries just adds to the speculation.
"Everyone has a personal gold medal. That might be just making the First XV of your high school rugby team.
"These drugs are rife - you can get them online, get them in any gym. It's a massive problem we have with school kids in Australia, being busted with steroids. They are trying to bulk up just to get into their schools team. The distribution of performance enhancing drugs is a multi-billion dollar industry.
"The further down in sport you go the bigger it is because you have equal incentive to use it, because it works, it is readily available and you got less chance of being caught." - Richard Ings - former head of Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (Asada)
Just South Africa then? How about the "upwards of 1000 000 steroid users in the UK" in the UKAD report of 2019, with only 46% of those considered to be body image related? How about the clean needle clinic in Gwent, Wales that ONLY caters to steroid users? How about Alun Wyn Jones being left out of the British and Irish Lions tour because of a shoulder injury, but recovering quickly enough to be flown out for the first game?
As for your "investigative journalist".... lol Neil Francis played rugby for Ireland and was fired for his efforts as a journalist for pissing on the wrong battery. And for all the talk about the Springboks doping, strange how so many countries around the world are just lining up with their chequebooks to sign them. Seems they don't agree with you.
Brother do you even know anything about rugby 😂😂😂 Testing is routinely conducted after matches, at training and, where appropriate, can take place unannounced at a player's home. Both blood and urine testing are undertaken you silly Billy 😜 were just built different brother like real men...we don't fight with kangaroos we fight with Lions and beat them in our back yard 😂😂😂 eg Lions series ( all of Europe's best) 😮😮😮😂😂😂
Les U20 Sud Africain sont t'ils déjà chargés à bloc ?
Allow me to translate...
"Boohoo. We lost the quarter final and our butts still hurt".
Card application is inconsistent and ruins the games. Seems almost like the Ozzies were inviting head contact with their posture, defeating the supposed "safety" applications of these cards.
From an aussie that red card was ridiculous, let alone it even being a yellow card ffs
I'm sorry but how is that a red card? Aus player is bent at the waist head down, pen yes maybe even yellow but reds to far. If you slow down all rucks in every game I guarantee you will find a million of those type of incidents
Cue all the whingers bleating about how their team was hard done by blah blah blah, whinge, whinge, whinge.... SA rugby supporters take the cake - worse than the Poms, and that's saying something.
Wow aussie TMOs no wonder it so bias 😮😮😮😂😂😂 i thought it was too blantet bias reffing but thats why....hows does that work aussie TMOs in Aussie game????? Come on now dont make it so obvious Aus we know you need some wins here n there but thats to blantet and obviuos now hey😮😮😮😂😂
What an actor someone get that ozzie fella to fifa
Someone get the bok player into kindergarten so he can learn to read and how to not blow his teams chances right in front of the ref.
@tengzlah5729 Someone needs to take you to see an eye specialist 😂😂😂
Rugby is becoming lame thesedays
No way that's a yellow or red especially for rucking🤯🤯🤯🤯
The red was for head contact during the clean out
Contact to the Head wtf you talking about.
I honestly dont understand how u punish a team twice, for a single mistake? Either penalty try or yellow card. I also dont see much wrong with the clean out? Tell the wallabie to get his head out the way, like look up instead of clearly sealing off? well played baby boks. Julle het hul nommer!
perhaps the dummy should have realized that he's in no good position to clean out OR at least tried to clean out in a safer manner without boring headfirst into a stationary player who was clearly visible.
Video umpires ruined that game
This is absolutely a sham
No way those cards made sense 🤞🏾🤔
What didn’t make sense about them?
Saffer logic 101. If it goes against us it makes no sense.

Boks should never lose to Australia ever , at any level. Even with 2 men short . Mxm ai suka . Don't come back home. Julie moer mann
1 man short.
What is the point of having lineouts when they are uncontestable?!
Lineout not straight at all
Another game ruined by a red card. The guy was absolutely fine, there was not ‘a high degree of danger’.
Are you blind 😂
It was outrageously stupid and I’m glad he got a red. Better now, so he learns, and doesn’t do that in 2027 or 2031…
Clear red
Hahaha, the good old saffa excuse, " it was the ref and the TMO" why we lost
Dude - maybe don’t clear out smashing the guys head? You may or may not agree but they are the rules so, at the very least, they should be professional enough to not smash someone in the head!!
Useless ref
useless
Pretty unconvincing stuff from the wobblies. 15 v 14 and they barely won. Some of those catching dropsy ball moments were hard to watch. Pretty standard for australian rugby though, to be several levels below the rest with basic skill sets and you can see even at this junior stage it is rife and barely gets better as they get older. They will wooden spoon this tournament for sure.
They only had 14 player’s for 20 minutes and they scored more points in the second half when it was 15 v 15
They quite obviously played better than the boks, you are so mad for no reason.
Like the WC final. Boks 2nd best vs 14 and got lucky.
The red was a 20 minute card. So it was 15 on 15. for 53 minutes.
@@dane1056 And did jack shit to show for it
A full strength Boks team with all 15 on the pitch would have bulldozed Aussie. Australian rugby has been going nowhere for years with little input into grass roots rugby. Take your win Aussies as it is few and far between.
And the AB's would have won a world cup
Woulda coulda shoulda... but it didn't.
If our rugby league players played union we would be unbeatable. Rugby just isn't that big anymore, we used to dominate in the 90s but everyone switched to rugby league
