Watching Apocalypse Now for the first time. I understand this scene 18 years later now.
Same here! I'm 36 and I'm finally getting around to watching Apocalypse Now. I get to this serious bit of dialogue in the movie and just started giggling thinking of this scene in Sealab. It's always fun finally getting a joke/reference years after seeing it.
LOL Apocalypse Now. Sealab is one of the best Animated comedy's ever.

I might have gone off the deep end myself, but I like the delivery of the Apocalypse Now lines better than in Apocalypse now.
It's better than Brando pausing for 5 seconds between every two words.
@@AngryJT Brando had heat stroke which is why he kept pausing. He had heat stroke because he was fat as hell and they had him running around in the jungle.

Yep. I was a budding alcoholic at the time. I remember watching this after a few shots of Bacardi 151 rum. Not a care in the world. I still quote this show at least once a month in my interactions with people lol. 😂

the entire episode was surreal but in a good way. the Apocalypse Now bit was a perfect fit even though i didnt realize it the first time i watched it.
