For me the amazing thing about this performance is that when this was filmed he didn't speak English or Italian and couldn't even understand what he was singing. He has since learned English.
He is from the Philippines. The land of amazing singers.

thank you for reacting to our very own marcelito pomoy.self taught,homeless at age 7.worked on chicken coup while listening to celine dions cd.we filipinos normally sings along with the music doing both parts and we used to have singing contests on national tv called doble cara where a singer sings both parts but marcelito is so unique,he has very distinct voices.

There is not much in life I enjoy more than watching people's brains melt when experiencing the insane brilliance of Marcelito Pomoy! 😂 No formal training while growing up. Singing in two languages, neither of which is his native tongue. Sitting down. Our Filipino brother has God-given talent, and it's pure joy to experience it. Lol, I never miss a new reactor watching this! He sings "The Power of Love" so closely to Celine that you have to make sure you keep your eye on the screen to prove to yourself she didn't sneak in at some point.
He's good ha? He's really a very gifted Countrymen. I've seen few times here in Canada and the whole wide workd loves him. He's touring all over the World non stop, they just loves him. I was Once a young girl loves to sing and still singing but never had an Idol, but now I do have a great day and/or night!.

Marcelito is a super star, the reason you dont hear so much, is 2 fold, he did star on americas got talent, he only came 5th, it was said he would not sign a record deal, i could be wrong on that, but there was ahuge public out cry,
In the grand scheme of things, marcelito is a star, made enough money for life,
he was on the streets at 7 years old, his father was in prison, his mother left him on the streets, he used to sell sweets to live, then he realised he could sing, up until this video which is many years old, he had no voice training it was all self taught, he does many duets, beauty and the beast, and couple of others, he is married, few quid in his pocket and nice house and a baby, his child be be fews years on now maybe 6ish, im not entirely sure. he his from the philopines, he can sing in his native language, plus english, plus italian as you have seen and also spanish.

it was the same with the child prodagy, angelina jordan, won norways got talent at the age of 7, she appeared on americas got talent did bohemium raphsody, she was 13 but her parents would let her sign a deal, they did sign a deal with another record label, but it was written in to the contract, that she would not start till she finished school, its worked wonderful for her, good family and parents, kept her grounded, she is a super star, you dont need records these day with you tube, socila media, cuts all the simon cowells out, his time is about over i hope
@@ThePentagenarian He came in first of the singers in that competition. It was won by an acrobatic act with some non-singers coming in at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Angelina Jordan came in at number 2 of the singers but wasn't in the top 5 of acts in that show. I know there was a trained dog in the mix somewhere. I think the recently discovered Chopin #22 nocturne for kazoo performed by a TikTok 304 was also ranked ahead of any other singer.

That is truth he have a dual register voices and im proud of it, he perform that song at AGT you watch it.
Marcelito is the real thing. He was orphaned and left in the street by his mother. I met him at a his concert. We visited him backstage . He was amazingly open and welcoming.
I think Marcelito actually came in fourth on that show but S. Cowell screwed him over. Marcelito didn’t want to sing the final song that was chosen for him by Cowell or his people and then at the end Simon said he shouldn’t have chosen that song, what a jerk IMO! Actually it’s better he didn’t win that way he didn’t have to sign on to their demands and he can do what he wants too now. He is my favorite singer, just love the guy!

Marcelito not only did the male and female part but also impersonated those 2 singers with totally different personalities....you know celine and marcelito sounded like her....Andrea is a famous italian blind tenor opera singer and marcelito also sounded like him. This considering he didnt have formal voice training.
