Thank you so much for the weather reports, Jon. I am depending on these currently this week as I plan my current travel because I don’t have snow tires so I have to plan very carefully. I’m going to go to your website and make a donation, because I really appreciate all that your reports
@@centralidahowx Thank you so much for your response! I recently became a supporter of you on UA-cam and Instagram. I could be traveling between Stanley and Boise (via highway 75 over Galena Summit and through Ketchum), perhaps this Sunday, November 3. So it would be good to know how the roads might be in regards to driving over Galena summit. However, if the weather is turning nicer on Monday and next week (Nov 4-10) and if I can drive into Redfish Lake without snow tires (they don’t plow the road into Redfish) then I would love to stay and van camp at Redfish Lake, or I could drive over Galena Summit and stay with friends in Ketchum. Not having snow tires means I have to be cautious about when I travel. Especially over Galena Summit. You have been hinting on your forecast that next week (Nov 4-10) gets nicer, but if possible, I need more information about if it’s safe to drive next weekend if the snow storms are pretty much going to be done before then. I know you have access to all those fancy storm trackers. Thank you so much for your help! Feel free to call me if it’s easier for you to talk on the phone. Here’s my phone number: 986-200-2306. Also, I want to tell you how much I appreciate your channel. I depend on you for information about traveling and when to go camping in the Stanley and Sun Valley area. I live in Boise. I watched your coverage of the Sawtooth fires every single day, sometimes multiple times. You gave more thorough information than anywhere else I could find. I appreciated your details and your coverage of Stanley Lake in particular, which is the one place in this world that has always held my heart. I know how heartbroken the community is because I am heartbroken over Stanley Lake also. It was looking hopeful for a while, when you showed that the fire had separated on either side of the lake. But then the winds picked up and you had said it was burning really hot. I watched your coverage repeatedly, so I wouldn’t miss any information. Thank you for all you do to keep us safe not only in planning our recreation but in keeping us safe during travel. You have a gift for what you do and I appreciate you. Yours, Marly
@@thorthunder3703 Thanks so much for sharing your experience with the wildfire updates, Marly! Hearing this kind of feedback really keeps me going, especially during those slow times when it feels like no one’s paying attention to the weather. I appreciate it! 🙏
I cannot figure out how to donate. Maybe you can provide a link or some thing? Or tell me how to donate. I looked at the Donate page, but it doesn’t make any sense to me. Is it a website called Ko-fi? Or an app?

Ko-Fi doesn’t have an app so you can open it through a web browser. Thanks for your support!
