Great vid Ian, keep it up! Is there any difference between max6 and max8 esc in terms of speed and acceleration and battery consumption when driving 1/8 chassis?

      Thank you bro 😁.
      I haven't owned a max8 but I'm sure the max6 is stronger.
It means that the Max6 can handle more amp demands from the motor, so the acceleration is better with the Max6, be it on 4s, 6s, or 8s.
Top speed wise, I think there's not much difference. I've seen people hitting 100 mph on 6s with max8 combo. And same with the Max6 on 8s which is around 100 mph..
The main edge the Max6 have over the max8 when speed running is the temperature of the electronics. The Max8 will be hotter than the max6 after a few speed passes.

I looked at the ZD racing as very affordable but have heard bad things about the plastics being substandard and very brittle really not sure how true this is a great comparison video

That's true bro. I'm the witness on how bad the plastic quality is..
I've broken tons of parts already in 2 years.
It's great if you're not the basher type of driver.

@@ianbudgetrc2574 thanks for your reply, yeah I am pretty much a basher but tend to use other trucks for that like Kyosho and hobao

That's amazing bro! I'm really interested in that sabertooth. I see lots of reviews of it. Cheap and durable 😱

If the zd racing has lose steering and wear how is this a comparison?

    • @ianbudgetrc2574

It's somehow considered a handicap bro. Yet, the zd still delivers..
      Bottomline, it handles really well.
