hahahah I'm considering anything that's been out for 10+ years old enough that it's removed from current trends!! Movies from when I was a teen also count😂
I quilt and garden, and both can be major sources of inspiration for colours and textures. Heck, sometimes fabric from my stash ends up in my clothes *and* my quilts.
I love how you say ‘this is (not) working for me’. I’ve found myself saying this while I get dressed. Love that it focuses on how you feel in your outfit instead of how others may view it. Sounds simple but has felt really supportive & encouraging for me. Thank you! ❤
💯 yes this. The outfit gives me a vision of Sarah after defeating Jareth as casual sovereign of the labyrinth in her free time. And the braids in your wavy hair are amazing
I’m convinced Liz can turn any concept into a wearable outfit! I have shifted my view on putting together outfits since watching your channel and it has been amazing because I’ve started wearing clothes that I wasn’t sure I could style before😆 It’s allowed me to use so many more pieces and save them from being re-homed or turned into something else😊
I love your videos. I used to watch videos of stylists saying things like "don't wear this if you have this body shape" or "dont wear these colors if your skin tone is this color" or like what patterns and colors you should or shouldn't put together. But I love your videos so much because the older I get the more I realize that for me clothing is functional of course but also a fun way to try new things and express myself! I've never been one to wear the most trendy things and I tend to put things together that I don't see others wearing together. But I enjoy wearing what I put together and also it's not uncommon for me to get compliments too :)
I really love people watching for fashion ideas whenever I go into the city. It makes the commute so much more enjoyable and it allows me to see how people put clothes together which gives me inspo.
babe wake up beepworld posted!! in all seriousness i've been doing not super great lately, i'm in a partial hospitalization program and i've been very very tired from so much therapy and emotional stuff, but this really brought a smile to my face!! "concrete forward" haha dc metro architecture moment
more ”outfits inspired by” would be so fun. i think it’d be neat if you did an “inspired by pieces of art” but inspo found while visiting a new or favorite museum!
SO DOWN for this idea, U GO GIRL!!! current society feels so over saturated with the online cyclical wheelhouse of two second trends and sameness. thanks for bringing some reality back to our lives which always can feel so sallow in comparison to the shiny virtual world. it’s just life!! we’re just living here!!! at the end of the day we need some peace and comfort and to express ourselves by TANGIBLE things that actually exist in our lives like seeing a grocery store girl or trying to read more books and dress like characters. love it. keep it up. would love to see other similar vein videos, maybe deinfluencing or other similar ideas :) stay good ❤️
I absolutely hve followed style inspo from my non-internet visual field but truly loved seeing a creator talk about this. Tysm! Your pleasure in seeing the outfits come to life was priceless
This is such an amazing idea. I find myself becoming overwhelmed when I scroll through the sheer amount of outfit photos I saved in Pinterest or Instagram. Keep up the great content!
I also love using architecture and interior design as inspiration - either in interior design books, walking around and looking up at cool old buildings (I’m from the UK so there’s loads around) or when I’m inside somewhere cool like a museum or other fun building, thinking “who would have lived here?”, “who would I be if I lived here?” - just another fun little one :)
omggg that first outfit is so cute now i want to style my skirts like that more!!! i have a teal green skirt i thrifted that would go so well with that vibe omg
Between this vid and the triceratops comment you made about your diy ribbon scrunchie, you’re healing all the times I’ve heard comparisons to non-fashion things be used in a derogatory way (ie “ew you look like marshmallow”) and now I feel like I would be excited about looking like a marshmallow or a triceratops or any other fun inspiration ❣️
I personally really love dressing like my favourite band. Whenever I get sucked into a band's rabbit hole I gotta express that. This can mean whatever the band means to you, like dressing what comes into your mind from their specific sound or adapting the way they are styled for photos. For me personally that can mean Maneskin, Camp Cope, Avril Lavigne, etc.
For the dress, you could try rouching (idk the spelling) the fabric w/ a large safety pin to try and make it shorter. And you could also and add a long white bow. Kinda like an asymmetrical bustle
So for the past couple years I have been drawing inspiration from color palettes that I see in nature, like nature photography in books that I own or through pictures of flowers/sunset/landscape/forest photo and I have been loving it! There is a blog called the Vivienne Files that taught me to use art of a painting as outfit inspiration and I love doing that. For a whole year I drew inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh (🌻🌻🌻) and I loved it.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO I LOVE IT!! It’s now my second favorite Beepworld video. While social media can be a cool way for regular people to share their style with fellow normal people fashion enthusiasts, it is so easy to get sucked into this capitalist, consumerist, exclusivity-chasing mindset, and it is disintegrating my brain! I dislike it so strongly. Not to be a boomer, but I really do got to put the phone down and touch grass more. Breathe fresh air. Look at real people. Read books and use my imagination. Stop seeking instant stimulation and let myself get bored so I can CREATE!!!! Also, I do like your themed outfit videos, Miss Liz Beepworld. :) I like those types of videos a bit less when people buy a a bunch of stuff just for the one video and then never wear it again, but you’ve never been one to do that, so I’d say you fit that concept in an inspiring and sustainable way.
I don't know how to explain it but this is my favorite video of yours! I think it is one of your best, I love the format and of course your originality✨ it made me indeed inspired
One of my biggest strange sources of inspiration is my childhood outfits! I was always allowed to dress myself from a young age and, before I learned conformity, I totally slayed. It’s kind of wild to imagine taking fashion advice from your five or twelve year old self but they might have been doing some cool stuff with what they had available!
absolutely love this idea! Made me realize these types of inspo is what I do the most probably! I have Pinterest but I don’t rlly use it for outfits idk why usually instagram/UA-cam is my online inspo One of my favourite ways is based on music! The vibes of a certain band usually or songs or genre Also highly agree on the art one, also the principals of design ties into that for me being a design art school grad🥸lol
I live for "outfits inspired by" videos!! More pls! Kat Stratford is my style icon!! And now that I'm in my 30s & buy my own clothes I can dress like her! Was about 13 when I saw the movie for the first time; artsy Y2K is like what I always wanted to dress like but wasn't old enough, and now I can lol.
the outfits on this video are popping off! There really is something refreshing to the eyes when we touch some grass and seek inspiration outside of our tiny pocket computers 😭
i just need to say. i just got cheated on and dumped after 5 years. i haven't been able to watch anything, listen to music, but i hate silence more than anything. i've been binging your videos for few nights now, and it has been a huge comfort to have a positive distraction and something to help me feel excited about the things i enjoy again. i hope u keep making these:) thanks for being a safe stepping stone for me getting back into my life again
Shoutout to the stylish grocery store girl!! 💖 I loved ruffled socks with bows idea sm! (I also usually just dress up to go to the store. It helps to make it more of a quest than a mundane task. And because I don't know anyone there, no one judges me. At least not out loud 😅)
This is SUCH a good video. I love the nature/art inspiration but struggle to know how to create an outfit from it. Your examples are excellent! Please do the art-inspired outfit video!!
every time i watch 10TIHAY (which is often, it’s one of my all time favorites) i’m like UGH i want to dress more like kat. i personally take a ton of inspiration from music, both the actual songs/sounds and musicians. sometimes i put a playlist on shuffle and let whatever song plays first dictate what my outfit will be for the day. i also love looking to debbie harry, joan jett, and 70s-90s rock musicians in general for style inspiration. as usual, i loved this! another thoughtful and fun video from miss liz beepworld ❤
my most fun not-fashion connected inspo is animals. i just get so goofy and happy when wearing an off-white shirpo jacket and black tight jeans and a black hat imagining i'm like a sheep hahah of a full white outfit with red heels it's like a white hen outfit
I love all your inspiration outfit videos, so please do more. i adore people watching. The airport is my very favorite place to see what people are wearing. Shopping malls are good, too (although I'm seldom in one!).
My biggest fashion inspo the last 6 years or so has been the movie Pretty in Pink. Incorporating elements of Andi’s looks (and frankly ALL the character’s styles) has gotten me closer to what I feel is “my” style than anything else 🥹
This is such a fun way of doing a "favourites" video... Just like... Dress up as cool stuff you've come across (and thus be more drawn to doing enriching things in your life - no matter how simple)
omg i love acadia! i have family near there so we visit every year and it's SUCH a huge inspiration. once you go, you totally understand why maine has so many artists-in-residence and home galleries. you can't live there and NOT fill your life with artistic expression of all kinds! jordan pond is a particular favorite hike of mine because of the variety of scenery depending on where you are on the trail. your outfit 100% captured the acadia vibe!
this is the kind of unique and creative fashion content i have been craving!!! i would absolutely love to see you put together an outfit inspired by a painting.
Not the bygone era vibe being from a movie about teenagers from when I was indeed an actual teenager 😂 thanks for putting your content out there. simple and carefree fun. Sat here on a lazy Sunday drinking a latte and eating Doritos (weird combo, I know) just smiling at your ideas and energy. ❤
I love the cicada earrings! I have the same ones! Also i love how out of the box you are when you think about styling. One of my favorite ways to look for inspo that i would say isn't too traditional is by looking at the way people style pieces i like on etsy in the reviews of the product. :)
So funny both yourself and Kathleen Illustrated latest video said you'd wear an outfit to the Ren-Fair and the grocery store 😂 Great minds think alike x
Loving this so much! I've not been particularly inspired these past months to play with my outfits much because for work I have to "play it safe". The warmer weather is making me want to try more though, this was the perfect video for it
Love this idea! I'd also add video games as a source of offline style inspiration. I've been playing Hogwarts Legacy, and now a lot of my outfits are casual fantasy / 17th century inspired. I love drawing inspiration from an overall world vibe (the architecture, settings, and clothes combined) -- because unfortunately you can't buy the clothes from video games.
I love all of these ideas so much!! Lots of inspiration! And I loved the way you showed the tangible side of taking elements from that inspiration and translate them into an outfit! ❤ Great video! More like this "inspired by" videos please!! 🥺
Awesome idea for a video! I love the idea of getting inspo outside of Pinterest etc, ’cause you get to be so creative and really build on your unique style and preferences. Ofc there is nothing wrong with Pinterest, I use it daily, but I love the added inspo. ❤❤❤
i like to get inspo from album covers or songs themselves and sometimes (and trust me i know this is weird) i wake up and im like i want to dress like a toyota tacoma and then i dress like a cowboy who also may be a lesbian
I love everything about this video, you're so inspiring and watching your videos always motivates me to style not what I think others will think is stylish, but what I myself love 💕
I would love more "outfits inspired by" videos!! Especially scenery or sculptures❤
I have never felt as 36 as I did when you called 10 Things I Hate About You an “old movie” 😂
hahahah I'm considering anything that's been out for 10+ years old enough that it's removed from current trends!! Movies from when I was a teen also count😂
SAAAAAME!!😂
I felt that tooooo 😂
46 here and I speed withered into an ancient temple! 😩
Omg yeah I felt like the crypt keeper. When she said old, I figured 50s-ish, maybe 80s, not a Heath Ledger romcom 😂
YES to the outfits inspired by paintings! And yes to the inspired by... videos in general, those are some of my favorites to watch.
YES ❤
OMG PLEASE DO AN OUTFITS INSPIRED BY VIDEO THOSE ARE THE BESSSSTT
I quilt and garden, and both can be major sources of inspiration for colours and textures. Heck, sometimes fabric from my stash ends up in my clothes *and* my quilts.
ooo I love this. quilting and gardening are two ~dream hobbies~ I aspire to when I have the space!
I love how you say ‘this is (not) working for me’. I’ve found myself saying this while I get dressed. Love that it focuses on how you feel in your outfit instead of how others may view it. Sounds simple but has felt really supportive & encouraging for me. Thank you! ❤
Outfits inspired by famous paintings is a great idea, I'd love to see that !
The fairy outfit also gives big Sarah from Labyrinth energy in the best way ✨
another ICONIC movie for style inspo
💯 yes this. The outfit gives me a vision of Sarah after defeating Jareth as casual sovereign of the labyrinth in her free time. And the braids in your wavy hair are amazing
ummm obsessed with outfit 2 inspired by the embroidery!!!! (and yes we need an inspired by famous artwork vid asap)
The idea of looking through old family photos to get fashion inspiration? Iconic, love that one!
Ever since discovering how women in India use colour I’ve loved orange and pink together even though I’m not a pink person.
can you imagine being the grocery store stranger that inspired a beepworld liz look?
I love your videos. I used to watch videos of stylists saying things like "don't wear this if you have this body shape" or "dont wear these colors if your skin tone is this color" or like what patterns and colors you should or shouldn't put together. I've been obsessed with mushrooms and trying to emulate that in my outfits. This video gives me the validation I need!
become the mushroom!!!!!

I am so honored to hear this video could bring u some relief in these trying times!! and I hope you get all the rest and care you need❤️❤️❤️
You have always reminded me of Pippi Longstocking. I mean that as a sincere compliment.
I take this as a sincere compliment hahah thank you so much
@17:53 watching this video actually broke the compulsion i was feeling to buy some trendy new fashion items, so the dream came truuue
more ”outfits inspired by” would be so fun. i think it’d be neat if you did an “inspired by pieces of art” but inspo found while visiting a new or favorite museum!
also the hair clips with the braids!! love!!
an 'outfits inspired by different artistic ages' video (or series) would be SO SIIIIICKKKKK

I find so much inspo at concerts and festivals!! By far my favorite place to people watch.
I personally really love dressing like my favourite band. Whenever I get sucked into a band's rabbit hole I gotta express that. OMG HOPE IS THE THING WITH FEATHERS INSPIRED FIT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN
I’ve seen this concept a few other time but this is my favorite! Thank you for styling an example for each type of inspo!
“Outfits inspired by ______” are my FAVORITE content!! ❤

People watching is my absolute faaaaave. ❤❤❤
It's what I miss most about living in a city. Can't see as many new outfits when we're all in cars. 😢
I live for "outfits inspired by" videos!! More pls!

I love the “granola girl meets hippie” in your first outfit!! That is 💯 my current vibe!
Delighted U have the same cicada earrings as me - they're my go to! And I'm OBSESSED W the nature fit!
the yellow cardigan addition to the flower embroidery outfit was so perfect it made me *gasp*
thank you for giving us application! that's really what i've been missing from these types of videos. and i love the last outfit!

would absolutely LOVE an "outfits inspired by famous paintings" video! and this vid was such a great resource, thank you!
First comment!! Hello from your Korean viewers ❤
Liz really knew I'm on a social media detox and need other sources of fashion inspo, slay!
Wow that last outfit was gorgeous!

I love the cicada earrings! I have the same ones! Also i love how out of the box you are when you think about styling. One of my favorite ways to look for inspo that i would say isn't too traditional is by looking at the way people style pieces i like on etsy in the reviews of the product. :)
Fairy queen outfit is truly so magical
People watching, my favorite!
💗💗💗i love how she know her public soooo well 💗💗💗
So funny both yourself and Kathleen Illustrated latest video said you'd wear an outfit to the Ren-Fair and the grocery store 😂 Great minds think alike x
I'm watching her video right now and I just passed that part LOL honestly very iconic of us!!
Loving this so much! I've not been particularly inspired these past months to play with my outfits much because for work I have to "play it safe". The warmer weather is making me want to try more though, this was the perfect video for it
Please do an outfitd inspired by paintings video!!!
I love to do this with random word generators and album covers/songs.
such a cool video!! dare i say its one of your best videos even, and your outfits turned out so good too!!
this is so sweet, thank u sm!! :')
Love this idea! I'd also add video games as a source of offline style inspiration. I've been playing Hogwarts Legacy, and now a lot of my outfits are casual fantasy / 17th century inspired. i knew i recognized some of those places in your photos! i went to acadia a lot when i lived in maine. hiked around jordan pond twice i believe.
I love Acadia.
aww this was actually so affirming and I almost got emotional a few times 🥹 thanks Liz!
Awesome idea for a video! I love the idea of getting inspo outside of Pinterest etc, ’cause you get to be so creative and really build on your unique style and preferences. Ofc there is nothing wrong with Pinterest, I use it daily, but I love the added inspo. ❤❤❤
Liz Stratford has entered the chat, and she ate.
yes to more outfits inspired by videos!!!! tbh i’m getting bored of the plethora of recreating pinterest outfits vids i need something fresh lol
Please do painting-inspired outfits! (I've worked in museums for my whole career so I'm biased, but still. :) )
i like to get inspo from album covers or songs themselves and sometimes (and trust me i know this is weird) i wake up and im like i want to dress like a toyota tacoma and then i dress like a cowboy who also may be a lesbian
I'm feeling so inspired by this!
I love everything about this video, you're so inspiring and watching your videos always motivates me to style not what I think others will think is stylish, but what I myself love 💕
i loved this concept!
I love how you wear a lot of skirts! super cute 💗
love the outfit inspired by the embroidery, i would totally wear that
Love yours little predictions on the end of the video!!❤
You just SLAY ! I subscribed 2 days ago and u re already my fav youtuber !! You rock every outfit, ilyyy and tysmm
