There's just something about Life is Strange that always ends up making me feel nostalgic, the soothing music that also deep down brings a feeling of sadness and relief with it.

this was such a huge moment in the episode.
I love this game so much, things like this make me feel nostalgic for no reason. This feels to real, the atmosphere is so peaceful and true. Moments like these in life are so precious, and this game captures it too well. Hopefully in the future I can voice act for a lis game...

it's so calming. The music and atmosphere in life is strange always gets u dude. It does not disappoints you, and this particular scene, which Karen opens up to you and being herself makes it even good.
I think Sean and Daniel's mother is really trying her very best to make up for lost time & abandonment for those long years
So many people missed out on this game. Not just people who disliked LiS or just never took an interest but even some LiS fans won't play this. It's sad

Shmiite honestly I’ve enjoyed lis 2 a lot, I don’t know why people say it’s a mess. Is it because it doesn’t live up to the expectations from the first game? I ask cause I really don’t understand the criticism I haven’t played the first game either so I can’t compare.

Karen says it all in this video. Sometimes it’s nice to just sit and watch the universe do its thing.
This game is special. Theres something about both of these games, I dont know what it is. Its not just the soundtrack, story, writing, or characters. It's all of that but something else that makes me love this game. I dont think I'll ever get over this masterpiece.

The connection between Karen's dialogue and the moment of calm here is just perfect.
It makes a very smooth use of the medium. After that sentence, you, as the player, are again in control and have to decide when to finish the scene, but it gets difficult because it would mean going against what Karen just said.
I feel like it might have been kind of an "eureka" moment for the scriptwriter that came up with it.
I love this game so much. But I want and I hope to see Lyla again

These kinds of moments are the heart of this franchise. The dialogue, calm and music. Simple things but wonderful at the same time.
I'm really excited (And a bit scared too.) to see the ending of this incredible journey.

Those moments of calm within my playthrough were priceless, what a great decision by the creators. More games should add that optional feature, love it!

Just remember that there isn’t a thing known as the “perfect ending” in the LISU 😭
@@rachelramber you're right on that point, but there is a choice in how you want it to end. In ep4, depending on how you raised Daniel to be controlled or violent, different choices can happen in the final confrontation. Thats what makes choice/story games so great. In Dontnod's case, its called the butterfly effect for a reason.
I just hope our decisions actually effect the ending. No “pick ending a or b”. Judge the player based on how they have acted throughout the episodes. Maybe if sean is good natured, doesnt steal, you get ending a. If he steals, is violent and lets daniel do whatever he likes with his powers you get ending b. I was rather dissappointed that lis 1 didn’t really matter in terms of choices. You just pick ending a or b.
The atmosphere is great and the music
This was the first Moment of Calm that I stayed on for an extreme long while for this game. The music felt different this time. A calming, for some reason no sense of foreboding. As Karen has said, this scene(s) felt like it was just them, letting the universe go on as they sit in silence. I felt the same as well.
PS. I totally missed the one at Reynold's House. I would've stayed long there too lol.

This scenes music is so damn powerful. In my playthrough I chose to smoke with Karen.
While Karen and Sean and both talk about the past and reminiscing over it, this song can be heard feintly in the background, almost reflecting the distance between them both.
But then when Sean either accepts or rejects her offer for a cigarette the music finally comes into full focus. And my god does it hit hard. Showing how Sean and Karen have finally somewhat accepted eachother into their lives. And that’s when the music finally becomes into full swing and shows us what this scene truly is. A moment of calm.
Honestly I could write a fuckin novel on this game, it’s honestly incredible 😭
I understand you completely bro, this scene is alone is so powerful. We did not get them to reconcile but this was enough to speak lengths on why she left, how sean is, how their life was. Just perfect.

I just finished this episode who eles felt powerless when those rascist guys bullied u this game is powerful and puts u in the shows off a Hispanic in the middle of trumps America as a black man I understand and have experienced racism but damm it felt horrible to be forced to sing to those devils

@@rachelramber I doubt we will stay with her for long... maybe a few months, like the grandparents, but let's not forget that the brothers are running from the law and staying in America would be awfully dangerous. Not to mention Karen has her own community now
My feeling is more along the lines of them either making it to Puerto Lobos with a very uncertain future, or having to stay and face the law with an also very uncertain future. And in both scenarios there's a threat of separation: would there be a situation where Sean gets away to Mexico but Daniel is taken by authorities, or simply decides to stay in America? Will Sean have to face jail time in America while Daniel is left free? Will either have to die for the freedom they want? Can't wait for the tears.

I don’t think we’ll see the drifters again tbh. Maybe, we’ll see Cassidy again, but Penny and Hannah? I don’t think so. In the letter Cassidy sent you she explained that with Sean and Finn gone from the group they started to drift apart and started to fight more. I think they’ll go their separate ways. I could be wrong though! And I agree about lyla! I always felt so bad not keeping in contact with her because she genuinely cares about Sean and Daniel. I guess we’ll have to see how episode 5 wraps things up.

In my opinion ep 4 was pretty predictable like everyone knew that the mom was gonna come back but I like the way they made the reason that the mom left made u feel mad but feel sympathy for her because u understand what she is saying and not making the reason Cliché and I liked the way they portrayed the 2 brothers in the way they looked showing how much Sean whent through for Daniels safety

Nowhere near as good as the first season.
I enjoy this season more than the first.
Way better than the first season.
I have very particular opinions per episode of this series. I'd have to tier them in a list. But my top 5 would be:
1. LiS 2 - E1 : Got the most emotions out of me by far. Great setup that presents a bond in the face of tragedy. Easily relatable and heartbreaking to anyone who's ever lived in a suburb with a sibling.
2. LiS 1 - E4 : The shocking reveal after all that work and exploration was great. Vortex club party was bumpin, and yet the sorrows never ceased.
3. LiS 1 - E1 : They're really good in setting these up. Mood was great, meeting the kooky characters, finding out about powers, good stuff.
4. LiS 1 - E5 : Quite the trip. Liked a lot of the culminations and varieties in setting. Topped it off with bittersweet flavour.
5. LiS 2 - E2: Continuing the painful roadtrip, but with a feeling of familiar warmth in a new home, which really pays off after the cold wandering of the 1st episode.
