No reason at all to feel discouraged for missing some fish. I fail at times and even Angie has. I see a ton of improvement. Keep practicing. Fishing and crops both make money, so I try to do both. Since you're in summer here, i would make sure to be planting corn because it'll produce throughout Fall. Gold star red mushrooms are not needed for anything specific as far as I know of but i'd keep collecting and holding onto some red mushrooms. A lil tip I do with fishing is to try fishing at the beach when Willie is working. I catch fish and directly sell to Willie to get gold instantly instead of waiting overnight. Then after work hours, I sell them overnight in the bin at home. When going to any of the mines, I try to keep my pickaxe and weapon next to each other. It's quicker switching for me. I know it's hard not to get anxious to progress in the game but it will as you keep playing. Just enjoy the process and be proud of your progress as it comes. It'll be a lil at a time. I see you found Sabastian but just to let you know, at Robin's shop / house, there's a basement there inside the house. That's where Sabastian lives. Red dwarf scroll, yee haw! Nice job!
