To expand on my comment from last video. Each enchantment has different odds at different levels. Best way to check is just to block off bookcases with carpets or something to fill the air gap. This allows you to quickly switch between levels with easy cleanup. Also good to change between levels 1 bookcase at a time and checking at each level, because they can change. Especially since certain enchantments can't be gotten below certain levels. Lots to look into, but there are easy to reference charts that exist.

Stone diamond ores are one of the rarest blocks in the game and my man just mercilessly fortuned them😅

So, jack o lanterns work underwater. They are very bright, and because they have a face, you can use them for direction. And they are cheap, and easy to get.

The jack o lantern works in the overworld, nether and end. I position the face so when I'm running toward it, I know I'm running toward home or to the exit of a cave. It's easy to see from the air as well, day or night.

Can I just say I love your videos? They are so fun to watch and the humor is on point. I get so excited for every survival video.
Another tip if your PC is powerfull enought complementary shaders make ores glow and are much easier to see underwater.
Sculk diamond mining is still my favorite way to find diamonds these days To really make it work, though, you need one of those superpowered diamond hoes found in the Ancient Cities. Of course, you'll probably find a lot of exposed diamonds, there, too.

I have to point out a needed parity for bedrock specifically Xbox. We can’t stand on our boats when exiting the boat
yeah, we just fall :(. our doors are also waterlogged so we can't rlly make an air pocket like that
I think they recently added being able to jump on top, but mostly it just gets pushed around
Quick clarification for Bedrock players: doors are waterlogged when you place them under water. So you’ll need another method for your oxygen needs.
I’m not sure Java players would ever consider getting a conduit, but it’s a staple in my worlds

They're good as scompasses... always place facing back towards the entrance (portal, in nether)

I use them in my farms to light them and hide the faces. I have never thought to use them in the way of underwater lighting or nether tracking...

I came back to watch Wattles after quite a long time. Surprised I was thinking of diamond hunting in 1.20.1 and thought of aquifers. Coincidence wattles made exact and accurate vid for that. I used jack-o-lanters for lighting. Other than that perfect. The torch trick is fantastic. Same is the door. Also finding aquifers is very informative, practical and really good for anyone who wants to play survival genuinely.
Unpopular opinion: Strip mining is still the best way to get diamonds

Hey Wattles, you can use lanterns to light up underwater spaces... just get yourself an iron farm and you are good to go for the rest of your playthrough (until potions) 🎩🥂🤝🏽

Why haven't you made a shield yet? Skelletor is way less scary with an equipped shield.
That way you can have him kill himself with his own arrows.

Hey wattles I was playing Minecraft earlier and I found a crazy cherry blossom village seed- it’s on bedrock edition but the seed is 213714951. The village is right by spawn at -300, (y), 100 and it’s on the side of a cherry forest cliff. There’s also a really pretty mountain behind the village at -800, (y), 120 which has a pillager hut with allays in it. You should check it out it’s worth it 🙃 love your videos

Large caves are commonly found directly underneath aquifers. Place a door, dig down a couple blocks somewhere next to you, and it is almost guaranteed you find a cave.

you know if you combine the boots you want first you can add depthstrider in second , the fire protection will get cancelled out by protection
Use chunk border to find diamonds easily
Jacko' lanterns are pretty cheap, and should work in the aquifers.
You can use optifine to see whitout puting the torches on the ground and just carry them in your offhand
There's a vanillatweak for this too, if you willing to use that
netherwart + pufferfish + redstone = 8 minute water breathing potion
Petzl Ecrin Roc is the best cave diving helmet, apparently. I think yours is better 😊

Are there any parts of the game you get sick of during repetition? I love early game but find the diamond and XP grinding to be a chore (especially since fixing the old furnace glitch).
Also; how awesome is bamboo now??? Bamboo farms are Big Brain: constant supply of fuel and finally an easy auto wood farm!!

Reduced air exposure for ores is the sole most silly idea in Minecraft history (which does apply also to ancient debris). Change my mind.

I agree because I'm currently stuck between needing potions to find a good amount of diamonds and needing diamonds for everything else hah.... or at least we need a video on what to do if your cave system has skulk everywhere when you get low. I don't know enough about the deep dark to feel comfortable touching it... but apparently that's all my cave system has in it down low. I think I'm under a mountain.... So in the meantime, I'm trying to find another cave system.
Wow. Java almost seems easy. Doing this on bedrock is hard af. The drowned are constantly spawning and can track you from like 20+ blocks away. And their tridents absolutely wreck you. Same as normal caving. The amount of mobs constantly spawning in pairs or more. Now that I think about it, even on land it seems like Java doesn’t spawn mobs as much.
Drowned with tridents make projectile projection worth it!!
With my mid tier mostly diamond armor(still iron boots) total of prot 5 and projectile prot 4 they're not so bad.

I cant believe you found that 4-5 vein of non deepslate diamonds. Ever since 1.18 I silk touch all the stone diamonds because you dont see them as much.
wattles i am pretty sure there is an ore vein at 19:46 in the tuff.
If you are still in early or midgame, you can use lanterns. they work underwater.
My go-to is Jack-o'-lanterns, I find I usually have a lot more pumpkins than iron. But it depends what you have more of first.
