The best part of deadmau5 imo is hes never changed his self. Hes evolved and played with different styles of music but personality wise he will always be uniquely his self. And anytime you hear a song produced by him even if you were to have your eyes closed when the music starts it would be immediately apparent that its a deadmau5 production. I'm not into House/EDM too much at all. That being said, Deadmau5 is the only artist in the genre where I can really feel the passion he puts into music. It's hard to quantify, maybe even impossible, but I feel some sort of warmth and passion to his music. It's not just about partying, or pressing play and dancing on stage, or whatever. Feels like more.

Tom Kaos (Official) I alredy know that. I regularly watch his live streams. And use ableton myself. The way i see it it's basically still djing but actually less improvisational than a good DJ because its way more rehearsed.
These days, you've got a divide on the term DJ from what I've seen. You've got the Disk Jockey's who play and mix LIVE, and then you've got the Dance Junkies who put together the best performances they can and do everything to make people have a good time, regardless of whether or not its 100% live or not.
I seriously don't know how to explain how deadmau5 makes me feel. His music just hits different. Id kill to see this one live :(

Your cube is literally one of the coolest things I've seen a DJ present on stage. It reminds me of the platform Neil Peart, drummer for Rush, used to do his drum solos. He could tilt or go in the air and spin while doing his drum solos. Simply amazing to watch, and I'm glad to see someone apply this to electronic music and add such amazing graphics! Such an amazing sight to behold.

I just love how Joels mind works within a "music production surrounding" the mans a genius literally! influenced me in in so many ways to work out of the box rather than trying to sound like anyone else per say!!! this track has a beautiful "alternate" sequence pattern in those main synths that "even though" they are playing the same patterns the change up verges a blissful crossover!!! and the lifts on chords or drops are at the sweet spot in tonal sound!!! no diea how many times ive listened to this over the years, i love all his stuff though, even the stuff many dont know about "the FL years" and pre that hhahaha, one thing i loved alot is the "Project 56" look it up!!!

ugh whatever dude the title of the video is literally "deadmau5 - Let Go (cube 2.1) it doesn't take many brain cells to figure out this is a music video for the song...and he also said on twitter that the only songs on the album he liked was Snowcone and Whelk Then and when asked why he put the songs out then he said "Because I got mad billz" well maybe he shouldnt have bought a multi-million dollar mansion after building a studio in his old condo that cost a few million and move and build a new studio and buy multiple expensive cars. He can do whatever he wants with his money sure I don't care, but he flaunts it all over social media. I didn't support all his albums and go to numerous of his shows for him to be like oh look at me I got all this stuff that I talked shit on other DJs for having like expensive cars, expensive house etc. He should maybe learn a little humility is all I'm saying. Maybe I'm just jaded and have been listening to him for the better part of a decade and am just tired of his antics. The old Joel who lived alone in a little studio was a much nicer person.
