It’s so amazing the emotional intelligence of the bf parents, validating her feelings, understanding how she wants her mom and supporting her. I’m so surprise to see such a healthy family.
I am also surprised and impressed because this I've witnessed so many young teens that never got this kind of support from anyone on both sides.
They have been in this same situation! So they get it.
And Ethan seems so well rounded! Absolutely in love with Myrka and not afraid to show his feelings, wants to be a dad every step of the way, always comforting Myrka about this whole situation. They’re such a refreshing family

Yep. This is exactly how my mother in law is with my parents. My parents took in my husband (bf at the time) & let him live with us cause I was pregnant and he was from out of town. His mom expected him to make me get an abortion like she wanted but he didn’t; he just left. Srry for the story lol I can just relate to this comment. We weren’t even teens, we were 20 with full time jobs. She is just bitter. My sons 2 and she’s seen him once.

Ethan’s father assuring her that she is part of their family almost made me cry nobody wants their child to have a child as a teenager but they are doing everything they can to make the best out of a bad situation they are amazing parents
Ethan's parents are the kindest souls. Not tearing down the kids for making a mistake, but helping them own it and supporting their choice is so incredibly admirable. Myrka is best with Ethan and his family. Her mother's selfishness and negativity is truly sad.. glad to see the kindness of Ethan's parents and the love they show to Ethan and Myrka.

I have a 19 year old who thankfully never even had a boyfriend at her age she was obviously missing something from home to turn to a boy who can give it to her ... That's how it usually occurs. Being a mother is hard work but very worth it when u take the time and actually stay involved in there lives so this doesn't happen.

@@Ugh_mommy Myrka's mom, her behavior is completely unacceptable, she has and will continue to make this all about her. The whole pregnancy her mom was more concerned that she would have to take care of Myrka and the baby, and that she would be a grandmother younger than she wanted. Rather than actually taking care and loving her child through this difficult process, she was mad because she had to take care of her daughter.

That mom is not at all manipulative. She’s had a very different and unforgiving life. And she doesn’t want the same for her daughter. She also does not want to be responsible for grandchildren so soon. I don’t blame her! Kids having kids does not require your parents to be involved with the child until that parent is ready. Myrna and Ethan are the parents and the sole provider for that child. I wouldn’t want to be helpful towards the at all until I can see them doing something for themselves. I haven’t seen any growth from either kid so. Mom in my book was right to dip. And not be responsible for her or the child currently.

Ethan & his parents are such a blessing. They provide the love & the support that Myrka has been needing. I'm glad she doesn't have to go thru her pregnancy alone especially at such a young age.
The most ironic thing is that Myrka probably would not have even gotten pregnant in the first place if she didn't have to seek out love because her own mother refused to provide it. That "mother" shouldn't be surprised at all. I mean, what does she expect?

I also had working parents and a similar life to myrka, the difference is I wouldn't get pregnant and make myself another latin stereotype. Yah don't understand what it's like living with latin first gen immigrants. The rules are the rules, you break them, live with the consequences. We learn to be mature earlier, but my parents taught me a lot of things and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Poor girl, she doesn’t need this stress so far into her pregnancy. But won’t help her underage daughter emotionally or financially. Disagree. The job of a parent is to raise your child to the best of your ability. At this stage being 16 and pregnant that’s an adult. She made the choice to have sex and now it’s time for her to grow up. Is it harsh for her mom to kick her out-yeah probably, but also the mom doesn’t want to raise another child. Really hurts to see Myrka go through this.. My mom kicked me out at 19, and said it was my decision as well. With no where to go, I lived in my car for over a year without needing my mom for anything. Now I'm 25 and my mom is STILL claiming I abandoned her and she's the victim in this. Myrka needs to cut contact with her toxic mom and never look back.

I found out when I was 20, I didn’t end up having it but I remember being terrified of my mother. She’s a lot like muelas mom but not to the same level of extreme but definitely the same level of judgment and emotionally abusive. And still now she loves to throw it in my face to see me get upset like I don’t remember my own pregnancy

It is nice that Ethan is protective of Myrka when her mother is around. He joins them in the room so Myrka isn't alone... can tell he wants to be that buffer so that mom wont say something insensitive that will ruin the day or stress out Myrka. She is so pregnant she doesn't deserve any stress right now.

Right!! my mom was a teen mom and she grilled into my head her hopes and wants for me and her desire for me to break the cycle, I ended up getting pregnant at 21 and despite being disappointed my mom was there for me from the minute I told her, she refused to leave my side and is the best grandmother I could’ve ever asked for my child. There isn’t a single excuse for that woman’s deplorable behaviour, she’s a horrible mother and a disappointment. Sad part is you can’t tell how much she’s still holding on to her coming around

I love my daughters and they know no matter what they can always count with me and my husband. I do expect that they will finish school that is, B.A. from college. So both, my daughters and their children will always have a roof and food. Because, it means a well paying job. At anytime, I am planning on helping raise my Grandchildren, whether earlier or later, I want to enjoy all of them or the few of them.

My whole family rallied around me without enabling my situation nobody woke up with my child nobody watch my child while i went partying but they really rallied around me and never ever judge me at all

This was similar to our situation when my son got his girlfriend pregnant. It took me a minute to adjust but my grandson is almost 2 now and I feel completely blessed to have him around. I'm proud of of both of them. They may have made not so good decisions that led to a pregnancy but with the right love and support they're becoming wonderful parents ❤ Sometimes you have to let go of your plans for your child and let them find their own way. Your job is to be there to help them when they get lost, not to dictate their every move.

His parents are wonderful people and did a great job raising him and show so much love and generosity towards Myrka and Baby ❤️. Myrka, you and your baby are in great hands! This is a good example of God closing one door (Myrka's Mum) and opening another to a much better prospect! Looking back I am sure this all was for the best.

Yes, that is true unfortunately. My mother was like this when I was pregnant with my daughter...the only difference was that I was an adult when I found out I was expecting at the time and nowadays I'm still taking care of my child and she is doing very well today. My heart and support goes out to Myrka, the father, his family, and the baby. Even though this video is from a previous time, I hope they're doing well today ❤💛💚💙💜🙏

I literally sobbed while watching this. I can relate to Myrka. Watching this made me that much more grateful and appreciative of my in laws. They’ve done so much for me since I was 18, I’m 27 now. They’re the best grandparents. I always wanted my babies to have good grandparents because that’s what I had. It’s a type of relationship I wanted for my kids and they’ve exceeded any expectations I could’ve had
Be careful some in laws are in it for the long game waiting so that they can be in your lives and manipulate.
