Yes , I'm venezuelan, and very proud to be so. When I made my comment, I was refering to the song "quitapesares" by Carlos Bonet, a venezuelan composer born in Aragua ( venezuelan state)1892....so, don't be so offended...it's a venezuelan piece, and I congtulate this group on playing it quite well....Nothing polemic about that !..
I saw them play in Manchester a couple of weeks ago, they were amazing! They hung out in the bar afterwards talking to everyone - they were all really nice people, and very modest given just how talented they all were.
EXCELENTE INTERPRETACION DE TAN FAMOSO JOROPO VENEZOLANO. GRACIAS A NUESTROS AMIGOS COLOMBIANOS POR PONER TAN EN ALTO LA CULTURA LATINOAMERICANA. BRAVO!!!!
I have been playing Latin American Music in semi-professional groups for 26 years and I have seen and heard some impressive music and artists in that time. However, I have rarely seen anything quite as amazing as this!! Grupo Cimarron represent everything I love about this style of music. They represent why Latin American music is the most vibrant in the world in my view. I wish I could see them live. I would travel a long way to see them!! If I could play the cuatro like that it would be great!
Hey buddy ! Don't get so offended ! My comment was about the song ,a venezuelan joropo "quitapesares" by Carlos Bonet, a venezuelan composer born in Aragua 1892 ...all I was intending to say..was "great interpretation of the Original venezuelan piece...Well done...bring it on ! ...meaning "Do more"...maybe you need to understand english better, bro !.
@rccl36812 u should know Colombia and Venezuela shares the Orinoco basin, it means they share a culture as well as the music, so it is not only venezuelan music ! this performance is not only OK but outstanding
