    • @giwaahmed5961
      @giwaahmed5961 Рік тому

      No, you're wrong, he is only sound in twisting the interpretation of the law against whatever the present administration does as an opposition member, and definitely, people like you who don't want to see anything good in whatever the president does will surely always fall for his mischief in interpreting the law. Why was he trying to import into the wording of that section of the law what is not there despite it having been shown to all viewers on the screen? That isn't mischievous, right? Now read this: "The definition of cognate experience in today’s job market is simple: it’s the experience that is relevant to the specific job description. In reality, it’s a very broad concept that can include not only work experience, but also professional and soft skills, as well as prior education."

    Has Dr. Ubani started to eat 'corn'? This argument is very much unlike ubani. I don't think we need to be sweating over the meaning of ' cognate' experience. Cognate experience of a doctor and a nurse is not the same even though they're both medical professionals. In a normal society, a nurse would not apply for job meant for doctors.

      I find it very strange that “people” out of their bias will always spew arguments that don’t make any sense. What you’d ask yourself is what is the meaning of Cognate? The Webster Dictionary defines it as of the “same or similar in nature” : generically alike! A detective and an attorney are not same or similar, period!
      It seems like folks will always find alternative truths or falsehoods to benefit their agenda/position. Crazy thing is that those who align themselves with these lies and falsehoods always tend to see nothing wrong with it!
      This behavior or attitude is referred to as (WIIFM) “what’s in it for me”, very sad!

S 2 of the EFCC ACT, having stated that the chairman of the EFCC is to be a serving or retired police officer or member of security agencies or law enforcement agencies means that the 15 years cognate experience must be acquired while serving as the police officer or member of the security agencies or law enforcement agencies. I have said Mr Ubani is a shameless man, he has always chewed his words while defending the APC.
    This man should be made to go and sit down, his shame is shaming me.

    I don't understand why we keep debating someone's qualifications for his appointment since this APC govt started in 2015... and continuing this charade, from Buhari's certifcate scandal, from nominating dead people for govt positions, to Tinubu's certificate scandal, to appointing a serving a serving NYSC CORP member as Minister, to appointing a 25years as Chair of a board, to now EFCC chair, Is it that we don't have qualified people to run govt again or what?

    It looks like English translation has become a problem for Nigeria constitution. There's always a problem to clarify simple English like "and". This time it's "cognitive". I think we should convert our constitution to pidgin English.
