Wow, the final female intro - Lightning, Vogue, Zodiac and Jet - the four most gorgeous female Glads of them all and all from the UK! Go ladies! What an episode that one must have been...
Joey Lamontagne na was never keen on ice. i remember as a kid reading she didnt like jet or lightning. maybe was just 'gossip' but didnt like her since ha
WOW 4:27 The pose Flame does has such a Powerful aura about it... She is the Queen of the Duel, truly a warrior, she crushed everyone of the challengers, she was Unstoppable.
@@christianfrost8660 Aussie Flame is the Queen of the Duel she annihilated all challengers in devastating manner. She even tackled Peggy Odita down in the Powerball semis.
@@retrojunkman3878 She was undefeated on Duel and Whiplash, got knocked off of Suspension Bridge once, though the contender was disqualified and is the Gladiator that all contestants feared on Powerball and Gauntlet. The Aus Queen isn't as awesome as the UK'S Queen of the Duel & Queen of every other heavyweight event.
I remember this . . . The UK, Australia, USA, and (a little bit) Russia had the best gladiators . . . I don't think the other gladiators from the other countries had the much experience and it showed when the had to compete! Cheers
I actually came up with a full structure that would've divided this competition into two classes. This would ensure that all the countries would've been able to compete on about equal footing.
these epidsodes are currently getting shown on virgin 1 every sat and sunday but u better catch dem dis week cause there showing the last 2 frm internationl glads dis week.
If they ever did the INTL's again, they have to do it like the intros like they did with IG1. I'd love to see Crush, Tempest, and Angel in the same camera shot. Also, I'd feel very sorry for any contender that had to face Thunder, Justice, and Destroyer in PowerBall.
@winddragon04 huge problem with that cos most of the UK gladiators are wrestlers as well meaning schedules might be conflict and few are injured right now plus most of em now live in the states i would like to see it back but how is the question
+Amy G: I'll have to disagree, I think our Aussie Gladiators were the best-looking overall with some of the coolest names! You should watch some old episodes of the original Australian version, all the original Aussie female gladiators were really beautiful (my fave female gladiator was Flame), and alot of the male gladiators were really hot too.
4:27 The pose Flame does has such a Powerful aura about it... She is the Queen of the Duel, truly a warrior, she crushed everyone of the challengers, she was Unstoppable.
RIP DYNAMITE. ;*( WITH YOUR SALUTING POSE, YOU WERE THE MOST LOVABLE COMMUNIST MILITARY OFFICER OF ALL TIME TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;*( EVEN ARKADY OURUMOV FROM GOLDENEYE TAKES SECOND PLACE TO YOU, DYNAMITE. ;*(
AMEN TO THAT! Those germam gladiators diddnt look anywhere near as good as the rest. and i think probably the smallest one of them all was called giant! lol how ironic!
Talk about a missed opportunity! You have gladiators from six different countries coming together! This should've been the crowning moment of awesome for the whole worldwide gladiators franchise, but it didn't take into account that Germany, Russia, and South Africa didn't actually have their own shows. This combined with the "contenders cannot face a gladiator of their own country" rule led to a lot of ridiculously imbalanced matchups. The contenders and gladiators of the U.S., U.K., and Australia completely dominated those in the other countries represented here which likely heavily influenced the results. What they should've done is split this competition into an A-class and a B-class. The U.S., U.K. and Australia would've been the established powers in the A-class. The B-class would be marketed as the aspiring new markets that could someday go into the A-class themselves. The U.K. and Australia would each contribute three male and female gladiators apiece, but the U.S. would only have two gladiators per gender since they were down eight combined gladiators by that point. There would be similar gladiator distribution for the countries of the B-class. I would alternate episodes between A-class women/B-class men and vice-versa. Here's how I would structure each episode. Episode 1 Peggy Odita (U.S.) vs. Janet Allen (U.K.) Alexander Maltsev (Russia) vs. Andreas Sasse (Germany) Episode 2 Myriam Losch (Germany) vs. Lee-Ann Liebenberg (South Africa) Mark Everitt (U.K.) vs. Andrew Halliday (Australia) Episode 3 Lourene Bevaart (Australia) vs. Jackie Kinsella (U.K.) Prince Sunney (South Africa) vs. Dennis Galli (Germany) Episode 4 Ludmila Machtchenko (Russia) vs. Claudia Lederer (Germany) Pat Csizmazia (U.S.) vs. Sean Clay (U.K) Episode 5 Episode 1 female winner vs. Episode 3 female winner Episode 1 male winner vs. Episode 3 male winner Episode 6 Episode 2 female winner vs. Episode 4 female winner Episode 2 male winner vs. Episode 4 male winner If you're wondering why the U.K. and Germany get two spots per gender while all the other countries get one, the reasoning is simple. There are four spots per gender, but three countries per class. This creates the need for one country to take up two spots. Since the U.K. is the host country, the get the extra spots in the A-class while the extra spots in the B-class go to Germany since its both the biggest market in that class and the closest to the U.K. Look, I know this is a compromise, but I think this would've been the best way for this competition to shine. I don't want to see the countries with experience at these games beating the stuffing out of the countries without that experience, I want to see the best of the best coming together and competing as evenly as possible. Sometimes, that means separating countries that aren't. P.S. I will concede that Dynamite from Russia might've been ready. His sub-6 foot height nearly 250 pound build (which made him as hard to knock down as a fire hydrant) combined with his experience in the first International Gladiators may have made him good enough to compete in the A-class. He beat Pat Csizmazia on Suspension Bridge, that was certainly unexpected. Also, rest in peace to Dynamite himself (AKA Vladimir Turchinsky). You didn't deserve to share a first name with a tyrant like Putin.
To be honest i think we (The UK) had the best looking gladiators and the best gladiator names...because their are/were some bloody ugly and stupidly named gladiators out there lol, no offence meant...but..come on! XD
I love seeing all the international gladiators from different countries, UK,USA, australia, south Africa, etc🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇺🇿🇦😄❤️👍
Wow, the final female intro - Lightning, Vogue, Zodiac and Jet - the four most gorgeous female Glads of them all and all from the UK! Go ladies! What an episode that one must have been...
I think the female gladiators get more popularity than the male gladiators! Especially Jet and Lightning on Hang Tough!
I loved the format, I just wish they would have been able to continue it.
This introduction was so cool!
I love both Ice and Lightning!
Australia, USA and UK all have Glads returning... bring back International Gladiators!!!
jet and lightning were the best glads ever !
To me, Ice is up there too!
Joey Lamontagne na was never keen on ice. i remember as a kid reading she didnt like jet or lightning. maybe was just 'gossip' but didnt like her since ha
Always liked vogue and falcon too
oh the good old days, correct me if i am wrong this was in 96 if so i was only 4 and i loved this show, still do
Those crowds were such jerks, not even bothering cheering for some of the foreign Gladiators!!!!!!!!!!!
RIP Hawk
WOW 4:27 The pose Flame does has such a Powerful aura about it... She is the Queen of the Duel, truly a warrior, she crushed everyone of the challengers, she was Unstoppable.
Flame had nothing on the UK's queen of Duel.
@@christianfrost8660 Aussie Flame is the Queen of the Duel she annihilated all challengers in devastating manner. She even tackled Peggy Odita down in the Powerball semis.
@@retrojunkman3878 So did the UK'S Queen of Duel as well as annihilating on Gauntlet, Suspension Bridge and Whiplash.
@@christianfrost8660 It woulda been an Duel.

great complilation zodiac jet lightnig and vogue 2-gether must of bein a great show cause i agree there the best looking glads ever.
Ice was one of the United State's most popular Gladiators.
Gaaawd Lightning so insanely gorgeous :)
Jet, Zodiac, Delilah, Astra, Lynx, Fury, Flame, Angel, Jazz, Ice, Delta, Storm, Power, Lightning, Vogue, Panther and Falcon are hot. Sahara was also hot.
I remember the incident with Jet on the pyramid, so sad. But what happened with Raider?
That's because they were the only Americans to make the trip that season, though the season before Nitro also made the trip.
Why do I get the feeling that damn wolf who needs a rabies shot is in the international gladiators roster 2 years in a row!?
jet ,jet,jet

4:40 mother of God...
