How are the modified components of the firmware working for you after update, on the radio? Anything surprising or unintended? One of the things they did many updates ago was make it harder to switch between the band stacks, as N4HNH has pointed out-hence why he never updated from an old firmware. While I doubt that’s rectified, it would be nice to hear how it’s working. Thanks!

That didn't even come close to actually answering the OP's questions.@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones

I recently upgraded my DX-10 and it is not hard to use the band stacking with the new firmware. It is done by pushing "Band" and then the "Funct" button, easy to learn and easy to use.

@@nelsnelsen6741 I think I’m getting used to it! While I like band stacking a lot, I wish they had a label other than just changing the “mode”-sometimes I have to cycle through all 3 of them per band to be certain I know which one I’m manipulating. This is mostly bc, with CAT control enabled (often for WSJT-x or FLrig, but also just for CAT-enabled logging programs for traditional contacts), there is no way for the rig to know to change to the proper band stack before it switches modes. It occasionally cycles between VFO A and B, especially on initialization or shutdown of the CAT control… it can be a little messy, unfortunately.
