- On the latest episode of the Official Celtic FC podcast, Paul Cuddihy and Matthew Campbell sit down with Aiden McGeady, as the former Celt reveals what it was like to make his debut for his bhoyhood Club.
McGeady, who made over 250 appearances for the Celts, shares his memories of playing alongside legends such as Henrik Larsson and Stiliyan Petrov, as well as giving an insight in to how it felt to win silverware with Celtic.
The winger also speaks about his time in Russia and how he adjusted to life on the other side of the world.

Im 43 ....wee mcgeady was OUTRAGEOUS for us ,in terms of abilty ,but not only that ,one of our OWN .......you see and hear how much TB meant to him .....what a player your were wee man ......had pleasure to meet you one night and you were absolutely superb 👌........you had no FEAR pulling on the hoops .....and what a TALENT.....love you wee fella HH

It is great to hear a discussion of a player's career which doesn't focus on the after match partying and the stupid stories which marked earlier efforts by Celtic TV to engage with ex Celts. I think Paul offers a steady hand on the tiller to move the interviews on to intelligent and interesting topics. Well Done!

Loved this guys,Aidens a true modern day celtic legend loved watching him play,as much as id have loved to see him play in the Scotland team youve got to admire his loyalty to Ireland, the fee we got for him was amazing for back then to was like a 50million pound sale in today's terms id say for the era he played in,all the best Aiden hail hail 👍

I dont know who Aiden McGeady really is but he looks like a good player and legend to this club and is nice. I've only been a Celtic fan for a couple of months like since last December so I don't know that many legends. Sorry guys.

I am merely making an observation that if this is meant to be an Official Celtic Podcast, then there should be a level of professionalism about it. first impressions count, and granted a good guest in Aiden McGeady, but in regards to delivery I expect more from the club.

As good as he was , never lived up to his true potential, wuda been a much better player had O'Neill stayed at Celtic, unfortunately as good as Strachan was for us he done his nut in. Takes 2 to tango, Aiden done himself no favours , and when attitudes clash someone's gotta go.....also listening to him here, you can tell he is sorry he left and never achieved more than he did with us.

So $315 million spent with a minimum of $2.5 billion back in revenue. Over $2 billion in profit. I think the mega franchises (3D Mario, Smash, Kart, Animal Crossing, Zelda) make Nintendo around $1 billion profit and the secondary franchises (Splatoon, Mario Party, 2D Mario and Luigi’s Mansion) make around $500 million profit. A crazy place to be financially when you look at the absolute state of the video game industry where teams are spending $50 million on a licence and $50 million on cutscenes like Spider-Man 2 for Sony... Long live Nintendo!!
