The guy who said. ..quid pro quo, we do it all the time. ..get over it! That was about Trump getting impeached over his quid pro quo to Ukraine's President Zelenskyy. Not picking Mulvaney from the bottom of the barrel, but turning over the barrel and digging in the dirt. Is that really the best that they can do? Or was he the cheapest they could do.

On the CBS hires, management is made up of former staffers to Republican Politicians. They don't have anybody from the left or even the Democrats on their Sunday shows. I feel Colbert is just giving the illusion of an objective network that can be critical of itself. No challenge to power, just the illusion of it; comedy used to lull people rather than elevate them. Always remember, this is the same network that said "Trump is bad for America but is good for CBS" They are wolves in sheep's clothing and that is why they are more dangerous than Fox or OAN.

There is a long standing history of a revolving door between politics and cable news that travels in both directions.
The exact same thing happened with John Brennan, James Clapper, Michael Hayden, Chuck Rosenberg, Frank Figliuzzi, Juan Zarate, Fran Townsend, Asha Rangappa, James Gagliano, Tony Blinken, Mike Rogers, Samantha Vinograd, Stephen L Hall, and Phillip Mudd; and all of them are much worse than Mick!
