This is an older video but just in case, you mentioned rounding the pendent on a light bulb. I found if I cut the bottom out of a Pepsi can, cleaned and fold down the edges to keep you safe you can put your circles on the Pepsi can bottom and bake it on the can. Works great. That being said you probably already know this. Love your video's and thanks for sharing.
I really like your tutorials. They are very informative, thorough, and helpful. What I like best is your presentation of yourself and your art. You really enjoy what you do and it shows that you love your audience and art.
I am so excited, I am an artist an have worked with paints for years. I was looking for crafts to do for elderly people and came across polymer clay. I thought "why not make bracelets or necklaces?" I came across your videos and have bookmarked them ALL, you are amazing and now have got me addicted to making polymer jewelry. Thank you so much for the tutorials, PLEASE keep making them and I will keep bookmarking. LOVE it so much. thank you.
This is so encouraging. Thank you. I am still in the stage of making batch after batch of garbage, but I persevere and videos like this are so helpful.
Thank You for this video. I used to make ceramics so this is a new twist. Love it all. You are a great instructor. Looking forward to the caning video.
Thanks so much for your tutorials. You make it all look so easy. Have learned the basic canes now and am making up all sorts of canes of my own by using scraps of canes! There seems no end to what you can do with a pattern by changing its shape and I am addicted!
Very nice! I learned several things - how to make the pendant and what to use to fill it. I also learned that I can take apart the clay roller that died... I replaced mine with an actual pasta machine that I got on sale, and it has worked better than all the others I tried. And since I work at a machine shop, I can get steel rods basically at cost (free sometimes, if it's scrap) and the steel helps keep the clay from getting too soft from my hot hands. Very nice tutorial!
Teresa, Love, love, you and all your. Your soooooo kind to share. On sis and can,t afford some expensive classes. Recouping from radiation and need to get with the clay to take my mind off the Big C. Thanks sweet heart.
I really liked your tutorial. I haven't even started yet. I make jewelry but decided to check this out. I love it. I have so many ideas. I'm going out tomorrow to get everything. Thanks so much.
I've spent most of my Sunday watching your excellent tutorials and just wanted to say thanks for putting them out here on UA-cam. You're a really easy to follow tutor and your humour makes for really easy viewing too.
After much procrastination, I finally took the plunge yesterday and ordered a load of clay and starter tools, so when they eventually arrive, I'll be a n00b. Until then, your videos are a great source of inspiration. Thanks once again 😁
Love the video! Thanks so much! I'm retired now and have time to do these amazing things, Just hope I have the talent! I learned a lot! Will watch everything you post!
Thank you! There are about 12 on UA-cam now I think. I have a comprehensive course coming out on Curious.com in about a month. You can find me there under Polymer Claydate with Pandora.
Wow! I learned so much from watching this video!! I loved the pasta machine up-cycling vignette :D Who knew?!?!? I definitely will return and favorite all these videos. I am totally new to the world of caning, so these videos are invaluable in gaining confidence in this technique.
Your tutorials are fabulous! I so want to start making stuff with polymer clay... My daughter whose overseas is into clay jewellery right now and I've recommended she watch your tutes. So I hope she does...just shared video of how you inset your studs on earrings. Luv luv luv
Thanks for the clear and easy directions for beautiful and intricate looking beads. Appreciate the great tips, too. First time I have seen you and was impressed enough to subscribe. ❤
Thank you enjoyed that and I love your relaxed style, just beginning to play with making my own polymer beads and so nice to watch this and see it look nice and easy :)
Hi i just want to say i'm new to Polymer Clay, and can happily say I'm addicted! :) I have found your tutorials to be fun full of information and easy to follow :) and like you Teresa Pandora Salgado your work is AB-FAB (absolutely fabulous)!!
Thank you Michele. You're right about polymer clay-it's completely addictive. Caning is especially so. I hope you get as much fun out of it as I do. Actually-that's the reason I make these videos. If you want to take a comprehensive, 10 Video course, check me out on curious.com My channel is Polymer Claydate with Pandora. Best wishes and send me pix, ok?
I'm new to polymer clay -- complete noob! But I just love your videos. I subscribe to several different channels on this subject but you explain so well and with such a fun and relaxed personality. Makes me want to have a coffee with you, and now that sounds a little weird but LOL you get my point! Thanks for sharing your knowledge -- you are very talented.
I was wondering the same? Is the Eileens the dimensional medium? In that case, if you “fill it up” as she says, it would literally fill up the pendant and dry as a dome?? Can I simply brush on my gloss medium? I’m a wire worker. NEVER used polymer clay. I was just trying to find a tutorial to make itty bitty teeny weeny beads, for a necklace and clay bowls cups etc as accessories for a Native American art piece I’m creating. (I don’t have time to use real Native American bead work) I thought I could create miniature seeds, beads and make into jewelry as the ancient Native Americans also did. I absolutely love her pendants and theyed be perfect as Native American pottery. Perhaps I should keep looking for a video for beginners. Lovely.... but I don’t even know how long to cook something the size of a seed bead.
"If you're into perfection I feel sorry for you "....that really made my day ty :) Wonderful tutorial and I would love to know how you made that cane !
Hi Teresa, I just love watching your videos. I started making cold porcelain clay beads. Do you work with porcelain? If so, do you have any videos on that?
So very pretty and extremely clever. I really love your pendant idea and your idea of making round beads with cane is awesome. I absolutely enjoyed watching and learning from you. Thank you so much :) I just bought polymer clay and can't wait to get the rolling machine. I started with just the basics for now. I have been confused as to which brand of clay machine I should get so thank you also for advising the Makins clay machine. EXCELLENT TUTORIAL!!!!!
your soooooo welcome, i am so glad to have discovered your channel, i literally became a better cane artist in 2 days versus, 4 years thanks to you, i GOT a concept i had been stuggling with, almost instantly The way you talk through things clicked with my wacky brain
Teresa Pandora Salgado Thank you! I wish this vid had been around when I first tried polymer clay! I could have saved a lot of money from the great tips you give!
Hi teresa this tutorial is really informative.I am beginner in this art.I am from pune , India.here no source to learn this art.i have started it few days back n m in love with it. Do share such nice things .thank u so much
Teresa, I love your videos & find you to be a hoot. I have a request. Would you pls do a tute on transparent beads that can be used as spacer beads with a hint of color? Thanks!
Ok. The Aileens Jewelry Pendant Gel is like a one part resin. Apply it just short of the margins. Then leave it on a very level surface for 48 hours to harden. The don't place anything in contact with it for at least a month.
I looove your tutorials. I've always been intimidated by polymer clays because it looked complicated, but you break it down and make it simple. I'm going to go to Michael's or find the supplies online, (craft stores in south jersey are very expensive) but I need to know, Do you use a toaster oven or a conventional stove top oven? I have a toaster oven that I don't use, but I'm afraid the beads won't come out as gorgeous. Thanks, Teresa!!!!
At the very end of this video you have a very lovely 'pillow' pendant. Do you have a tute on how you made that effect. I love the entire video and I totally understood that you were joking about your secret roller, some people just gotta be haters. They have no clue.
Hi Teresa! Can you tell me what type of glaze/gloss you use for your jewelry? I like a really glossy shine but I find some glazes don't work well while others give you the high gloss but end up being sticky. Thanks so much for sharing!
Hi, thanks for the great video! You mentioned that you can create a dome by sculpting the clay over a light bulb. Can you bake the bulb? How long is it safe to bake it for? Have you ever had one break from the heat change?
Greetings, coal4k. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. I've used all kinds of bulbs and I've never had one break. Most bake times don't exceed an hour so I've never had anything in the oven longer than that. For more tutorials, come see me at curious.com-polymer claydate with Pandora.
Pandora, can you teach us how to make little dishes )(pinch pots? like 3" dishes to keep by the bedside for out meds or to put a jewelry gift in before wrapping a small gift. This way, the person gets a sweet dish that is functional as well, a place to put your earrings in before bed.. I'd suspect the double-double gloss by AIleen. I just LOVE your pendant idea! A++ video Dear.
I love this tutorial....too!! :-) I have a question about your larger square pendant. If that a puff pendant (hollow) or did you use eight this slices of your cane (4 front and 4 back)?
Thank you for the tutorial!!! This is Darlene. I enjoyed speaking with you. Thank you for my order! May you and yours enjoy a safe weekend full of fellowship and remembrance of those who lost their lives. Blessings and Re Jouir -Darlene
Fantastic. Thanks for sharing. I bought some glass beads that I really do not like. Can I cover them in polymer clay and then bake them? And why do you make the pendant curved on a light bulb? Why not just flat? God bless, Elizabeth
Thank you Dawn. So glad you enjoyed it. Aileens is fairly new to me, too. Was just trying it out and I like it. I have 7 other vids on youtube and another coming out this week. Its my mission to clay with everyone who wants to! I was recently recruited for webinars on curious.com. That should be really fun. Oh and I will be 60 this year :-) Thanks again.
Hi there Teresa! I love your videos and you seem like such a lovely warm lady. I have one question though. In this video, near the end, you show a necklace that you made. Do you have a tutorial for the pendant part? It's such a lovely, fat shape I'm wondering how you did it. Thanks in advance, Gemma :)
This WAS fun, Teresa. I want to try it. Is the glaze used here still your recommended fave for this project? So many choices. Cheers, Teresa! Constance, Prescott, AZ, USA. PS: To err is human, only God is perfect and He puts a premium on forgiveness.
Hi Teresa, I was wondering if you could do a tutorial for disk beads, or sometimes called disk beads or donut beads? I have searched the internet and cnnot find a free tutorial! Thanks in advance, regards
Your beads are beautiful! I was trying to read the Eilleen's bottle when it was beside you but it wasn't in full view....could you hold things like that up for us when you use it please...what is it called ?

You make me laugh. I enjoy it being about you because you share with me! Thanks!
I really like your tutorials. They are very informative, thorough, and helpful. What I like best is your presentation of yourself and your art. You really enjoy what you do and it shows that you love your audience and art.
I love the way you explain everything in simple ways that even an absolute beginner like myself can understand. Your designs are beautiful!
