@@aaronballantyneI have a 1976 sunburst, first guitar I ever bought. Beat the hell out of it from 1986 to 1996, then put it away. Needs a total going over.
I had one a long time ago. Wildly flamed maple everywhere. I loved it . Super distortion, and super 2 pickups, thats really all there was then. It sonded great. Traded it for an early Dean Cadillac. That was a great guitar.
well ive seen you dave use this heat press treatment many times and it seems to always work suceessfully as it did this time. im not sure any guitar tech or luthier within 350 miles of me has this technology. but your a master at this. so great job dave, the guru of the guitar neck. ive learned tons from you over the last 5 years. thank you Dave!! Larry
I’ve got the ‘Mann’ brand version of this guitar in black. Same factory from what I understand. It was the same sh*tty loose tuners. I think it’s hammer time. 😊
@jameslanclos568...Well you are out of luck Jimmy!...Cause Ibanez never made a '' Deluxe Les Paul ''.....In fact Ibanez never had a factory or factory employees...preferring to have other guitar manufacturer's build guitars for them....This is how they still operate to this day... Ibanez is just a brand name stuck on guitars made in factories in Japan, Indonesia,Korea and China...just to made a few....
A true "lawsuit" Ibanez, from the look of the headstock top shape.
It's a 1975 Ibanez Les Paul Custom (that's my guitar Dave's working on- Thanks Dave!)

I had an Ibanez Ricky bass in the mid70's and toured with it - great bass.
Yep. I have one. Excellent bass.@@davelock3166
Love when we see Dave's World of Cool Gadgets. Nice job!
the portable bench anvil!
Thanks for straightening the neck out Dave!
Love it when the heat press comes out! You do it, Dave...
I had an Ibanez 2350 back in '86, but it was all black. Wish I still had it around today just for the nostalgia
Daaaave!!!! old les paul copies need love too!!!
I had one of those in 1981. A cherry sunburst version. What a cool old guitar.
You've got the moves, Dave! 🤣

Oh wow it’s a bolt on
I had a '75 that I stupidly sold quite some time ago.
Man I’d really like to have one of these guitars. I don’t ever see them for sale.
My local municipality will say the heating bar is a fire hazard ⚠️ 😂 that wont stop me

Even your hammer whack makes music. ❤
It can't be denied, the hammer is the King of Tools!
When all else fails, get a BIGGER hammer!
I'd love to get my hands on a white Ibanez Deluxe Les Paul and it's got to be a white one! (1:47) That's what she said!

I will never look at my strapped on the same way from now on 😊
Luv me sum lawsuit Ibanez
Good “sandwich hour” tonight. No story though because of Mickey the Mouse. 🎸 Hope you get him. We don’t need his kind during the sandwich hour.
what these asshats don't get is that from my side I can REPORT, REMOVE and Block THEM FOREVER..BIG DIK BUSTER :)
@DavesWorldofFunStuff He gets all 3
Stew Mac would charge you a couple of hundred bucks for that bit of ibeam lol
💙👊😎
What if it is a 2 way like my Gretsch 5422s?
it does not I can tell with a wrench WTF?
Then you wouldn't need a heat press, n'est pas?
From some throw away piece from work, to a small anvil. Nice!
Dr. Frankenstein
Does this Ibanez have real MOP inlays or are they pearloid?
plastic
It's still a nice guitar.@@DavesWorldofFunStuff
Absolutely. I have an Ibanez AAM370E acoustic and I love it. I'm very happy with the craftsmanship.
Those are actually pipe hangers. What size? My bet is 2 1/2", could be 3"
they started as pipe hangers
“Tight and dried up, not working right.”
7 words that sum up the ex wife
I'm not sure why it's a 'good thing' to make the truss rod fight against the bending of the heat press.
it's not..it's just tight..think about it..how can the processs work otherwise
why's it called an 'eye bean'
It's called an " I beam" because the cross section of the beam looks like the letter I
I beam not eye bean

Stay outta the swimming pool 👍
I’ve heard the Ibanez copies were better than the Norlin era Gibsons.
@ripperace..Well you should have your hearing checked by a doctor...cause you heard wrong...
Don't force it Dave,use a bigger hammer...........................................
