Never really thought of eating Tinga in flautas. My mom usually makes the Tinga with Tostadas with sour cream spread first. I usually use from where I live, tortillas from Atotonilco, for the flautas. Don’t know if that is available anywhere else.

Did my best to note down the recipe if anyone else needs, and please lmk if there's anything I need to edit. I will defss be trying this!! Chicken Flautas and Mexican Rice: 1. Boil chicken breasts with whole onion and garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper 2. Meanwhile, boil onion & tomatoes and blitz half for rice 3. Toast rice in some oil and add half of the blitzed onion & tomatoes, chicken stock, chicken bouillon, tomato bouillon (1.5 cups liquid per 1 cup of rice), and let cook 4. Strain and shred chicken breasts when cooked 5. For chicken tinga sauce, blitz together remaining onion & tomatoes and chipotles peppers in adobo sauce 6. Sauté onion and garlic in some oil and add shredded chicken when caramelised 7. Add tinga sauce and simmer until excess liquid evaporates 8. Warm up tortillas 9. Roll up flautas with chicken tinga and monterey jack cheese 10. Shallow fry flautas until golden 11. Top with salad of choice, queso fresco, sour cream, and hot sauce 12. Serve with Mexican Rice on side
