Great tip on the use of the circular saw blade in the table saw like that! Also, you said, 'stupid little lathe.' A great saying I like is, "If it's stupid but works, it's not stupid."
As I watched I thought to myself ( never have a clue what this guy is going to do ?? ) love the creativity that goes into all your videos , keep em comin !
I love your approach to things because I am much the same way as you I think. Just love to think and research and then work with things. Metals, tools, woods, projects and everything else. Only thing I haven’t seen you really go into is welding or dyi house crap. I do those too. Lol
Great video and projects! Will have to attempt one of these this weekend. Can't ever have enough twackers in the shop, for 'gentle manual persuasion'! Also love how your personality and humor shows in your videos. Keep it up!
Beautiful work, Billy! Really well done!!! 😃 There are hexagonal brass bars in the market as well... It should look fantastic too! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
They're pretty sweet looking, I don't know if I'd be able to use them to hit anything at all 🤔. Now that you've done the four mallets/hammers, you should have a go at making a judge's gavel !!! As always buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail 😂 Great vid man… don’t sell yourself short you do plenty that mediocre folks like us can’t do!

Great video, the excitement over the stainless hammer was hilarious! "I just wanna hit stuff with it!"
Those were all nice. I like that you trimmed the first mallet’s brass head.

Walnut and brass one is my favorite but they all came out really nice.
That mini lathe looks like it was a rock star for this video! 🙂
And it immediately died at the very end!
🙂
Neat mallets! I may follow your example someday. I made a great chisel mallet out of Bradford Pear. It’s quite solid.

Time is the only hold up for welding. I've got everything else so that will happen eventually.
Your work always impress.👏👏
They turned out awesome. I will be doing a brass head maul pretty soon. Keep it up and stay awesome.
nice work

I originally planned to use one but I was in a time crunch and didn't have time to get it. It'll be added to the list of personal projects.

I thought about it!
Those are all nice, Billy. Just don't smash your thumb when you use them.

Advice that came too late!
I would have used boiled linseed oil on the handles, I have never tried tung oil except as a floor finish.
Cool
What about rotor bits and metals? Do you need special bits?
I put the tools and bits in the video description, which might help you out on those questions.
ohhh man!! Too funny! “One of my favorite videos this year cuz it was so….. stupid!” Nice work man!

The last mallot I’m pretty sure is just a two part stick. Why not just make a one part stick? Or just use a stick?
The only chisel work I do is opening paint/finish cans. lol
