Now that I've moved to Tywyn, I am enjoying regular walks to see the remaining above surface artefacts of the quarry.

i thought that after Bryneglwys Slate Guarry closed in the late 1940s all the entrances was blown up?

Entrances were not blown up, access with the permission of the landowner is possible to some of the underground workings at Bryneglwys but should only be undertaken by qualified professionals.
