Every cab movie just reminds me of Collateral. Seems good for one without action & wholesome drama.
Wow. This concept of just two people having a deep, supportive, connecting conversation for a whole movie, that is so beautiful. Can't wait to see it! Sean Penn is always great, I trust that this will be worthwhile :)

Entertainment weekly called it a "Fateful" cab ride so maybe something intense happens, here's hoping. They also said it was shot primarily on a sound stage and not in a cab and took 16 days to shoot. Extrapolate what u will. 🤔

I do. Every time I go to NYC, I take a cab to and from the airport. I trust that the cabbies know their way around more than an Uber driver. Plus, I can get into a cab right away at the airport without having to order a ride.

Dakota Johnson is a wonderful actress, talented and chameleon-like, she can play a dramatic role, as well as a comic or romantic one, she has the virtue of transmitting the message of the role she plays, besides being a person with her feet on the ground.

Does the entire movie take place in the cab? If the passenger was played by someone else like Regina King or Anna Diop, would you still want to watch it?
I haven't paid to see a movie at a theater in more than thirty years. But this trailer encourages me to consider buying a ticket. I hate the theater experience, but the two lead characters, Johnson and Penn, come across as instantly likable and interesting. I had no interest in Madame Webb and don't blame Johnson for taking the money, it's the business she chose to make a living. The trailers for that movie were horrible. But this one looks like a gem.
