We start from the beautiful island of #Crete. To the west, stands the colorful old town of #Chania. Irrigated by the local tradition and Italian finesse of the Venetian period. It is located 2.5 hours west of Athens and you will love it in every aspect!
Did you know that #Nafplio was the first capital of the newly formed Greek state? Especially this year, that Greece celebrates the 200th anniversary of the beginning of the Greek Revolution of Independence, the picturesque city of Peloponnese is an excellent choice. This video made me want to jump on a plane to Greece right away! The scenery is breathtaking, and it felt like I could almost smell the fresh air and hear the waves crashing.
Loved the little historical snippets about each place too. Especially captivated by Nafplio and Hydra. Tough choice, but I think Hydra might be my dream spring getaway.
