Interesting that you keep finetuners for A and E (I currently have it on all four strings, but am considering taking them off for G & D). It's customary to have it just for E. While the A string usually takes peg tuning without becoming too loose, it can be tricky to push it into the peg box with the left hand, bowing with the right. Easy to tune it roughly with the right hand, plucking with the left, and then use the fine tuner with the bow.
I agree with you... however I'm using a steel A string (steel A, are thinner than normal A Strings)... therefore it's hard to fingetune it only by using the peg...
@@violinlessonline9985 Just noticed - you also have the A and E fine-tuners built in? I thought built-in tuners are an all-or-none. Did you get a custom-made tailpiece? Or maybe you have all four fine-tuners but took the screws off the D & G to reduce weight (and tune them with the pegs).
@@srikantiyer8131 hi.... actually they are not built-in.... I have a tailpiece with "holes" and I mounted those two fine tuners extra....
