I think these DIY kits are really cool, but at this point, now that I’ve modded (too many) watches, I have no reason to buy it since I don’t want to build the same watch as everyone else with this kit. But like you said, it probably would have been the best way to get started in modding. The complete tool kit alone would have been worth it.
Definitely a great way to start, their tutorials are killer. I think as they add more case and dial options, they can be a nice alternative to feiko dial builds (guilty).
@@ChillinwitWatches “Feiko” 😁. Haven’t heard that term before . . . but I’ve built them 😉👍. Have to admit that at this point, I’ve become a lazy modder. My preferred method now is to buy a quality AliExpress watch like Seestern or San Martin, and then source a cool dial and handset to swap in. I know, I know, pretty lazy. Probably can’t call myself a modder any more 😉🤷🏻.
@@ChillinwitWatches Funny reason for me, too. I despise cutting/filing/fitting crown stems to length! 😬😳😁 Of all modding tasks, that’s the one that gets me, every time!
That is going to be a nice project
That should be a fun project. Look forward to seeing how you get on.
Nice! Glad it arrived safely and thanks for the shout out! :)
Jason, the man himself... oh, there is a cat somewhere too! 😉👍
Yea man! Thanks for the hookup!!!
Ok, stop opening boxes and throwing things around Pete! Enough mate! 🤪🤣🤣
