    Garmai, I'm a native Houstonian and I'm married to a Liberian man who loves his native foods. Your video made it so stupid proof for me, my husband LOVED the soup and was amazingly shocked! Thank you so much for this video and others.

    I love your explanation about the measurement of the spices or seasoning. You will need it as you go Until you get the right taste.

    This dish is very expensive to make...no room for error 😄 my Liberian family usually prepare this dish on special occasions...christenings...baptisms...graduations...weddings (Barack Obama's inauguration)😄😄😄...your accent is making me miss my Liberian crew🇱🇷

    African variety of meats in our cuisines also make our cuisines unique. In some cuisines you can use only one choice of meat and the dish will still work, which is ok. But basically its a variety.Liberia has different types of pepper soups also.

    What all did you put in the blender? And did you add water to the fish and other meat while it was boiling?

    • @GARMAI
      @GARMAI  4 роки тому +1

      Antonette thanks for watching. What I blend together was onion, onion leaves, garlic, some habanero pepper. Use whatever that is available to you. I let the fish and other stuff steam for like 3 to 5 minutes then I add water.

    please try to avoid heat and plastic as much as you can. Putting hot food in plastic bowls or putting plastic bowls in the microwave can lead to small chemicals in the plastic melting into your food
