I am happy to see that you're raising your kids to love reading. That is so comforting. And the mere fact that they ask for books for the holidays is so awesome

I like how you take all the Girls and Jagger shopping Target looked so fun. I got some neat ideas from your shopping deals. Gemma so cute. She lights up when she saw the lol little dolls. You can tell she loved it.. Her age is so fun. Omgosh Jeff Crack me up about the Purse it was so funny. Their in though. Looks like ya'll had a great day.
A wonderful hello weiss life family I hope you are safe and well. I must say that you beautiful Melissa and Jeff and your daughters and Jagger you all make me smile. 😍
Book Recommendations: The Casquette Girls Series, Court Of Bitter Thorn series, Daughter of the Pirate King series, The Crave series, They'll Never Catch Us, Anne of West Philly (this one is a graphic novel), Dread Nation and Deathless Divide (Historical Zombie books), Ophie's Ghosts, The Matched Series, Home Field Advantage, The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek (Older teens), Mr. Malcolm's List (Teen Bridgerton)
Oh yes, the Matched series was really excellent! There’s also a future dystopian series where love is considered a disease, when you get 18 you get immunised against it, called Delirium, I think.
BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS!! For the Percy Jackson series, there is that set of the first five books you showed in the video, and then there is a sequel series called "The Heroes of Olympus" with an addition 5 novels. The "Greek Gods" book you showed is a short story collection that tells the historical greek myths in modern, fun Rick Riordan style. I absolutely adored those books as a teenager and highly recommend them for any of your girls who are interested. Great, positive messaging and appropriate for all ages, while still being engaging, exciting, and dramatic. Just in case Santa needed some more info on which Percy books to bring ;) Other series that are great for that age are The Selection, The Raven Cycle, Fablehaven, and The Ranger's Apprentice. Hope this helps if you see it - Merry Christmas!!
Rick Riordan also has a Norse mythology series ( the titles include the name Magnus Chase, who is Annabeth’s cousin!), The Trials of Apollo ( Apollo has to take on the form of a teen boy and prove his worth to regain his god form) and an Egyption mythology series ( The Kane Chronicles), which is the only one I didn’t like. Jacqueline Wilson’s books are good for younger teens, they cover a variety of different issues ( divorce, bullying, friends moving away, family member death/illness) really sensitively. The Hunger Games ( and the prequel, A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) are some of my favourite books too. The Selection was quite enjoyable too.
@@nerdynicky91 Yes, Trials of Apollo is SO good! I didn't know about the new series - that's exciting! The Magnus Chase trilogy by him is also amazing!! He has enough books that the entire Christmas morning could be filled with his work!
Percy Jackson is the first series in the camp half blood chronicles!!! There are 3 main series all containing 5 books each (pjo, heroes of Olympus, and trials of Apollo). There are 2 other series Magnus Chase and the Kane Chronicles! All of these series take place in the same universe and cross over at one point
I work at Barnes and Noble. For teen girls I recommend certain authors. Tricia Levenseller, Elizabeth Lim, Sabaa Tahir, Ayana Gray, Kat Cho, Marie Lu, Adalyn Grace, and Axie Oh.
Full House, Michelle, and Stephanie, which you could probley find at a book barn, I dont know if you have any, in the areas, you live in, but the full House Michelle, and Stephanie, book series are great, favorite book series ever! The Babysitters Club Grapic Novels, are also really good, and a wrinkle in time, the cupcake club, the cupcake diaries, sundae spa, and sprinkle and sundaes are my personal favorites.
Some good book series ideas... The summer I turned pretty The inheritance games Shadow and Bone trilogy Harry Potter, the hunger games, and Percy Jackson are also great ones to read even though I'm sure she already has 💕💗
I know Cindy Lou Who from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". I've seen the classic animated special. I've seen the long "live action" movie, starring Jim Carrey.
6:27 you are not alone my 23 month old son loves throwing balls any type to be exact and he has been like that since before he was walking. I will say when not playing with balls, hes playing with his monster trucks and cars, but if not mommies appliances ex: vacuum, broom, mop
Our Thanksgiving wasn't that great either. My husband and I were battling Flu A so we had to postpone our family dinner. We had a small dinner for the two of us and our sons had a small dinner at their own houses. Hopefully tomorrow we will have our family dinner.
The twisted Disney tales are awesome ,you might like Inkheart series by Cornelia Funk , oh tigers curse Colleen Houck and books by Ann Rinaldi are pretty good too, my mom and the Director at our local library for a while and I was a volunteer librarian who worked with the kids so I suggest to check out your local library too that way you could try out books before you actually purchased them ! the Rick Riordan book series are pretty cool Percy Jackson series is only five books and then there’s a side series that are involved that are three or four books I forget for Greek / Roman and then there’s a whole Other series for the as Norse gods and the Egyptian gods!
I think every target has an Ulta now and yeah it’s super cool, my area doesn’t have but two of both stores so now we have 2 more ultas in the targets 😂
yes, the "percy jackson" series only has 5 book in total! but rick riordan has many other series which introduce new characters, but also involve the originals. the next related series is "heros of olympus," "trials of apollo," "magnus chase," and "kane chronicles"! ive read them all, and they're really good. (they're really the only books that have ever hooked me.) merry christmas guys!!
YA Book Recs: Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Series by Jenny Han, Truly Devious series by Maureen Johnson, The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, The Folk of the Air Series by Holly Black, Hunger Games (duh), The Serpent & Dove Series by Shelby Mahurin, The Caraval Series by Stephanie Garber, The Nightmare-verse Trilogy by L.L. McKinney, Wildwood Chronicles by Colin Meloy, and finally this is super old school but some favs from Judy Blume: Are you there God, it's me, Margret, Forever, Deenie, Tiger Eyes,
I thought the last time you went to Disneyland before Jagger was born was the fall of 2019. I'm pretty sure the pandemic began in March of the following year. He really "does" need to go there like he's never been there before. I'm an East Coast guy who's been to Walt Disney World before.
Just subscribed and love your videos. We have seven kids between my husband and I and six live at home with us and we have one who lives with her mom. We also have one on the way and she’s due to be here in Feb ❤
For the older girls I would recommend to check holly Jackson’s series ( a good girls guide to murder ) and Karen mc.manus ( one of is lying ) and the cousins ❤
I stayed at home on Black Friday to avoid the shopping crowds, Weisses. I had leftover Thanksgiving dinner. I took a break on the next night so I had 2 barbecue sandwiches and potato chips. I'm having holiday leftovers on the next night.

I really like mindy Kim it’s a book series more for 9-10 year olds I also like soft place to land, blended is really good, settle and starlight is really good, the desk of Zoe Washington is also really good those books are probably for 11-13 year olds!
Maybe go a bit more "90's" for the books for your teens such as Paul Jennings (his books are based on the Australian tv show Round the twist), Goosebumps and Animorphs
my nephew is the same way with balls, he’s about to be two and he’s always loved throwing balls and playing with cars and his two older sisters never went through that faze not that i remember
My grandson was crazy about balls when he was Jagger age. He would call the moon a ball and one time he had a fit because he want the big red Target dot the was out side of the store
I honestly thought it was Norbert(a) at first, but I realized that's the dragon that Harry had to face. 😅😅 Looks like you guys found some sweet deals though.

The Inheritance Games is a great series for teens! A sort of YA Knives Out vibe.

I used to love Lip Smackers when I was a kid! So great they've still got them around now, they've stood the test of time :)
